The clippers are fairly heavy duty and, while not precision clippers, they do clip through plastic fairly easily. The file is a triangular miniature file to easily use on many surfaces, both flat and curved. The files are designed to be used in one direction, rather than back and forth. The hobby knife comes with a blade cap for ease of travel. The vice and drill set comes with five small drills and four different size pieces to hold the bits. The tweezers have a curved edge and are perfect for attaching bits to bases, as well as removing cat hair from models. The super glue has a squeeze top to secure the tip.
The Army Painter does offer more tools and upgrades to the kit on their website, including separate drill bits, bone saw, three pack of files, as well as their hobby paints and basing materials.
