GW’s New Free Imperial Guard Miniature & Coin Promotion

Get a free Imperial Guard model for the new GW miniature of the month, along with their Cadian Stands coin promotion in January 2023!

The free miniature and coin promotions have been going on since November 2021. To participate, head to your nearest GW store, and if you spend $100, you get the coin (while supplies last).

Currently, there are also free Stormcast and Space Marines miniatures for new players so that you can bring a friend to the store, and they can grab a free miniature too!

Warhammer Community just unveiled the latest new collectible coin promotion and miniature, so if you want the coin for January, save up at least $100 to spend.

Games Workshop does one of these promotions monthly (more or less), and the collectible coins are generally based on that month’s new releases. Also, if you collect at least six of the coins, you can score a nice little binder to hold them in.

New GW Free Mini of the Month & Double Coin Promotion for Jan

Why not start your year off with a free Astra Militarum guardsman? From January 28th, you’ll be able to pick up your free Cadian Shock Trooper at stores across the world. These heroic troopers were previously only available in the Cadia Stands army set. Don’t forget to ask for tips from staff about how to paint your new trooper!

Get them while they’re hot because these free minis can run out! If you get there on January 28th, you’ll have the best chance to snag one. This is also odd, as they generally do these at the beginning of the month, but we assume they are trying to set them up with the release of the new Imperial Guard stuff.

Games Workshop Cadian Stands Collectible Coin for January

If that’s not enough to satisfy your love for Cadia, you can also pick up a Cadian Gate coin from the 7th of January while stocks last.

Keep in mind this is available at a different time than the miniature, so if you want it, maybe go in early, or you might be able to wait until the new Imperial Guard stuff hits. You will have to spend $100 to get this, and they are limited, so don’t wait too long if you want them.

Free AoS & 40k Minis

While you’re there, you can introduce your friends and family to the Warhammer Hobby. They will get their first free miniature – a choice of a Space Marine or a Stormcast Eternal – learn how to paint it, and even play their first game of Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

So if you bring a friend to your local Warhammer Store, they can get a miniature to hobby on too!
