After the death of the Raven Guard Chapter master, it looks like things are really heating up in the new Tau Mont’ka book.

First off, looks like some of the assassins dispatched to Agrellan may connect with their target(s):“not all of them survive the experience” .

But then again it could be referring to the assassins themselves as well as their targets I suppose!

Looks like the Knight Command himself and Longstike duel for best tank commander in the grim dark, only to end in a draw?

Personally I think they’ve taken too much time developing Shadowsun’s and Farsight’s background (and the fact they were once friends) just to kill either of them off.

Aun’Va however is a great candidate because besides being rumored of being a Necron, he has lied to both of them, and could possible bring about an “Age of Stife” type peroid but researching Warp technology that most Tau have no idea is so terribly bad.

Mont’ka Supplement Breakdown

Here’s the product breakdown as we know it right now:

Dethachment, Warlord Traits, Wargear and Objectives for:

  • Farsight Enclaves
  • Cadians

So just as we saw Raven Guard and White Scars get the love, again we will see a campaign slipcover set that basically gives the 40K community 2 mini-codexes.

We’ll will get also get formations for the Baneblade (Sqaudrons?) and things such as The Eight.

It looks like if you bought Kauyon, Mont’ka is pretty much a must-buy.
