If you’re one of the people that bought a codex or rules for the old Warhammer 40k rules recently, don’t worry, GW is giving out refund vouchers!
Yesterday during the live Q&A Andy Smillie said they were giving out vouchers for anyone that recently purchased a codex or 40k rule rooks. Warhammer Community has put out some more information, as well as where to claim your vouchers.
if you’ve just bought a codex for a new army, or the rules for Warhammer 40,000 itself, in the weeks before the new edition was announced last Saturday, we’ll send you a voucher for the cost of your book. Usually, we’d do this for up to 4 weeks before the update was announced, but as we’re so excited about the new edition of Warhammer 40,000, we’ll be extending this to 8 weeks (8 weeks for the 8th edition!). And of course, you can keep your book(s).
You can claim a voucher no matter where you bought your codex and/or rulebook, as long as you have your proof of purchase and it’s dated between the 25th of February 2017 and the 22nd of April 2017.
Games Workshop has realized that there is probably a lot of you out there that will be needing vouchers, as this came to a shock for everyone. They have a customer support team working each region to get these vouchers to you as fast as possible. You can find your regions customer support team by clicking here. If for some reason it’s not the correct region you’ll probably have to click the small flag in the top right and choose your location, then navigate back to the contact us section.
Games Workshop seems to be doing a good job at trying to make sure everyone is happy with the roll-out of 8th edition. What are your thoughts? We’d like to hear them, let us know in the comments below.
