Death Guard Wal Hor

Two new waves of releases, comprising eight new kits for the Death Guard have all been spotted in the October White Dwarf. Come see how much they will cost!

Games Workshop just gave us a big teaser on what’s due to come out next week. Guard fans will be happy to get their hands on a new codex, but fans of Chaos will also be happy to see four new models coming out. Let’s see what Games Workshop had to say about the Death Guard models going up for pre-order next week.

We’re finally getting the releases of the Tallyman, Plague Surgeon, and Plagueburst Crawler. So let’s take a look at their rules and what we know about them so far.

Foetid Bloat Drone $50

Floetid Bloat Drone

The Foetid Bloat-Drone is not changing much, with it’s power dropping from 10 to 8. But it is getting access to two new weapon options, the fleshmower and the heavy blight launcher.

The fleshmower is a plague weapon with Strength +2, AP -2, does 2 Damage, and each time a Foetid Bloat Drone fights it can make 6 additional attacks with this weapon.

The heavy blight launcher has a 36″ range, Assault 6, Strength 6, Ap -2, does D3 Damage, and it’s a Plague Weapon.

We already have a good idea on how these new models are going to play on the tabletop, but now we’re finally going to get to put the new models into play. We’re starting to see images from October’s White Dwarf, and with it even more Death Guard releases.

So it looks like we’ll be seeing the new Plague Marine Icon Bearer, Plague Marine Champion, Biologus Putrifier, and a new box of Plague Marines coming up for pre-order on October 7th. But will that be the last week of Death Guard releases? Looks like we’ll just have to wait to find out.
