Come see the new rules datasheet for Games Workshop’s latest Inquisitor Eisenhorn model that will be coming our way in just two short weeks!
The rumors are true and it looks like we’ll be seeing a new Inquisitor Eisenhorn model sooner than we expected. Let’s take a look at what Games Workshop had to say about the upcoming release.
On Saturday 24th February, Games Workshop and Warhammer stores around the world will be holding a celebration of all things Black Library – and we have the low-down.
The event will be in part a celebration of 20 years of fantastic adrenaline-fuelled fiction from the worlds of Warhammer, and in part because the brand new Inquisitor Eisenhorn novel, The Magos is released on that day. And stores will have a host of special merchandise to commemorate both of these things. First, very excitingly, will be an exclusive resin Citadel miniature of Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn himself.
This model is based on the classic Clint Langley artwork depicting the Inquisitor in his younger days, and is a perfect collector’s piece… and also a great addition to any army of the Imperium, as he will include rules in the box! Yes, you’ll be able to use Inquisitor Eisenhorn to bring ruin to your foes on the tabletop. Pick him up from the 24th in-store or online.
The new Inquisitor Eisenhorn miniature looks absolutely amazing and it will be available on the 24th of February during a Black Library celebration highlighting all of the things Black Library has accomplished over the last 20 years.
Today we are seeing what looks to be his rules datasheet as well from Faeit.
Looks like some very characterful rules are on the way for the venerable Inquisitor, as he can summon a Daemonhost model to aid him in the fight against the enemies of the Imperium. This also looks to be the first time we are seeing a points cost added to a special edition figure offering as Marbo’s points cost was revealed on the Warhammer 40,000 Facebook page.
A daemonhost will cost you 25 additional points per the Imperial Index 2, and here are the powers Eisenhorn has access to from the same book:
The new model will mark the third time Gregor Eisenhorn will have his own miniature from Games Workshop as they released 54mm scale one for their Inquisitor Line back in the early 2000’s, and a 32mm scale that was part of a diorama as a redemption from Black Library as well back in 2005.
