Did you get one? Check out all the details of the GW Primaris event-only exclusive miniature that made it’s debut at Adepticon 2019!
The Games Workshop vendor booth was selling the exclusive Primaris Lieutenant at Adepticon all week long. Lines were long but it appears that everyone that wanted one was able to get one.
We saw some previews about him earlier on but we didn’t know all of the details. Take a look at what we found after we unboxed him:
Event Exclusive Primaris Lieutenant Amulius $35
This mini was actually previewed back in March at Adepticon 2018. It’s important to remember that they previewed this model to us saying that this one MAY be available at Adepticon 2019. As it turns out, this was model was available at Adepticon 2019 and quite a few people got their hands on them!
We feel like we can start expecting more exclusive minis coming to Warhammer Community supported events. These minis originally started out mainly as in-store exclusives, but it looks like GW is wanting to bring even more people to the gatherings they support!
He’s Actually Easy-To-Build
We managed to pick one up at Adepticon for ourselves and found out that he’s completely easy-to-build.
Right out of the clam pack to on the base, he didn’t take a single drop of glue. All we had to do was push all of the bits together. for $35, this Lieutenant looks great but we didn’t expect him to be ETB.
Other Event Exclusives We’ve Seen
Guardian of Souls Store Exclusive
Primaris Captain w/ Power Fist & plasma Pistol Store Exclusive
Named Exclusive Stormcast Eternal Hero, Leena Stormspire
The only way to get your hands on Leena Stormspire is to attend a store opening, refurbishment or relocation, where you’ll also be able to take part in games, painting competitions and more.
Games Workshop is no stranger to pumping out exclusive minis for special events. The Primaris Lieutenant may have been an Adepticon exclusive. However, you were also able to get the Primaris Captain and Guardian of Souls as GW store exclusives! Leena Stormspire is going to be a bit rarer. She’s only going to be found at store openings, refurbishments, or relocations. So there may be a bit more travel involved to get your hands on her.
Exclusives Could Hit the Shelves For Good
There’s a good chance that these exclusive models could come out for individual sale at some point later on. We saw this with Sly Marbo after he got his model updated back in 2017.
What do you think about another Primaris Lieutenant hitting the market? Do you like the ETB kits over multipart ones? What’s another model you’d like to see get an exclusive sculpt of? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
