forge world new releases games workshop warhammer community thundehawk

Forge World has been steady every week giving us new content for our hobby tables. Check out the latest Lord of the Rings character!

Lord of the Rings got revived earlier on with a battle for Pelennor Fields Box Set. Forge World has kept the ball rolling by continuously showing love to the game with iconic characters and units from the movies. Looking at their latest release, we’ve got Deorwine, Chief of the King’s Knights.

Deorwine, Chief of the King’s Knights $39

deorwine

Unwaveringly loyal, Déorwine is the Chief of the King’s Knights – the royal bodyguards of Théoden. Déorwine accompanied his liege to the Battle of Pelennor Fields, and joined the glorious charge of the Rohirrim that smashed aside all who stood in their path.

As a Hero of Fortitude, Déorwine can command a warband of up to 12 followers (some Rohan Royal Guard would be perfect!). He is among the most capable fighters in the Rohan army, well armoured, and can be fielded on foot or on horseback. Déorwine works especially well alongside King Théoden, as he can call a Heroic Combat for free to protect his liege in battle.

deorwine 2

The Deorwine bundle comes with a mounted and on-foot model types. no matter which option you choose to throw into your list, he’s perfect for bolstering your Riders of Rohan. He’s actually able to command a warband of 12 followers.

Rules for Deorwine are inside of the Gondor At War bookHe’s available for preorder now and will ship on June 7th, 2019.

With Deorwine right around the corner, let us know if you’ll be picking him up for your army in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group!
