New Primaris Models: Vehicles, Infantry & More SPOTTED?

Hey, are those new primaris models? A heaping dose of what looks to be new Primaris models may have been spotted out of the blue. Check these out!

Warhammer Community revealed a video of Primaris models that looks to be intentionally blurred. While we can’t pick out the fine details, it’s not easy to see if these are or are not new models. Let’s try to break down each one!

New Primaris Models: Vehicles, Infantry & More SPOTTED?

The video is short and all of the new models are bunched up in the right-hand corner of the screen but like we said before, it’s not easy to tell that these are all new models. Going from left to right, there is a handful of new Infantry units that look to have some kind of banner and robe on the front character. This could be some kind of new Primaris Librarian but it’s not been confirmed.

Primaris Hover-Whirlwind?

Rhino MKIIc

Next, there looks to be an obvious Rhino chassis converted to some kind of hover platform. You can tell it’s a hover tank because it has the Repulsor grav-plates underneath as well as a base it’s sitting on top of. If you look on the sides, you can also see some sponsons that looks to be maybe loaded with missiles. Maybe this is a new Primaris version of the Whirlwind.

New Eliminator Kits?

Next, the guy in the video pointed at the three Marines all the way to the right calling them Snipers. The only squad of Primaris Marines we know of that roll in a group of three are the Eliminators. This might be a first-hand look at their new multi-weapon kit we’ve been expecting after the Las-fusils weapon option was previewed in 40k Apocalypse.

A Light Redemptor?

Redemptor Dreadnought

Next, there’s an obvious Redemptor Dreadnought variant that looks to have some kind of roll cage on the front where the Marine is plugged in. Even though the image is blurred out, we can make out some minor details that look like it’ll be a skinnier (probably lighter/faster) version of the Redemptor.

And lastly, the final frame of the video shows someone pointing to a new model which we’re guessing is a Reiver-ish Lieutenant popping a smoke grenade. He’s got a combat blade out and has the classic half-face mask that most Reivers wear.  At least that’s what we think we’re looking at.

Note what looks to be an open smoke grenade as well in his hands. Is that the missing Rumor Engine bit we have been trying to place since last September?

It’s also important to note that in between the guy’s hands, the backpacks on the models look eerily similar to the infiltrators that came out of Shadowspear. overall, there’s a lot on the way to Primaris and our guess is that it’ll be a large continuation in weapon loadouts from the Shadowspear release.

Then there are a slew of marine rumors out there, most notably for White Scars:

White Scars Chapter Next in Line for Codex

According to an industry insider that gave us the info for one of our previous posts, the White Scars are the next Chapter to get a Codex. Some of you might have heard that it was the Imperial Fists, but there’s been no such mention of their name (sorry).

  • Arrival Late Summer Early Fall
  • Combined Release With New Primaris Models
