Warhammer Community had the goods on everything Feast of Bones that’s on the way for next week!

Feast of Bones

Whether you’re looking to start an army of Ossiarch Bonereapers, Ogor Mawtribes, or both, you’ll want to get yourself Feast of Bones!

Looks like the rumors of two-factions starters to kick off new releases are spot on. Hot on the heels of Looncurse (Sylvaneth/Gitz) this the Feast of bones combines another destruction factions with one from Death.

feast of bones orgors

This appears to be the first chance for players to get the new Orgor Tyrant, as well as Vokmortian (currently only available in this set) and the Necropolis Stalkers and Mortek Guard.

The Tyrant, Necropolis Stalkers, and Mortek Guard will be avaialbe later on according to GW, however.

Ossiarch Bonereapers Releases

Also coming soon is the first wave rules releases for the Bonereapers:

Inside, you’ll find the background and sumptuous art that bring their dark world to life, along with top painting tips and a new set of rules with which to unleash the Ossiarch Bonereapers on the tabletop. This is a force unlike any other in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, featuring new game mechanics that reward you for grand strategic thinking and clever positioning – we’ll be reviewing it in more detail next week.

Faction Terrain Piece: Bone-tithe Nexus

Being called the Bone-tithe Nexus, it looks like it’ll be a four-headed statue made of stone and bone with piles of skeletal remains laying on its steps.

While it’s in Spanish, some have taken to the internet to translate the latest rules for the BTN. It looks like it’ll have four different effects in-game being:

  • Punishment of Lethargy (Castigo de Letargo): Choose a unit wholly within 18″ and fully visible. Roll a die, on a 4+ that unit cannot run until your next hero phase, in addition, they may only roll 1D6 to charge instead of 2D6 until your next hero phase.
  • Punishment of Death (Castigo de Muerte): Deal 1 mortal wound on a 2+ to an enemy unit within 36″.
  • Punishment of Ignorance (Castigo de Ignorancia): Choose an enemy Wizard within 36″ and on a 2+ subtract 1 to casting rolls, shooting, and unbinding until your next hero phase.
  • Punishment of Pain (Castigo de Dolor): Choose an enemy unit wholly within 18 and on a 4+, they must subtract 1 to their hit rolls until your next hero phase.

New warscroll cards and a host of dice will literally let you “roll dem bones” next week as well:

Orgor Mawtribes:

Looks like the fatties are getting ret-conned again as the grots, beastclaws, and gutbusters all seem to be back together again in one BIG book!

mawtribes battletome

Ogor Mawtribes – a new army book that forges the Gutbusters and Beastclaw raiders into one glorious (and gluttonous!) army.

Available in standard, Limited and eBook editions, Battletome: Ogor Mawtribes transforms the ogors into a deadly fighting force, with updated allegiance abilities, spell lores, sub-faction rules and much more besides. New lore, meanwhile, explores the distinct culture of the ogors, from explaining just what happened to the Everwinter to why they tolerate Gnoblars in their presence. We’ll be getting our teeth into the new book with some tantalising tasters next week, so stay tuned.

Plus we have the first pictures of the rumored Mawpot terrain pieces as well:

Plus what release would be complete without some (oversized) dice and Warscroll cards as well?

With a new Death faction on the way, how do you think these guys will differ from the other Death counterparts? What’s up with the Ogor Lore? Are you ready for the fatties to sweep down from the mountainside?
