New Electro-Priests Ad Mech 40k Rules SPOTTED!

admech wal paperDon’t miss the new Ad Mech 40k rules that were spotted for Electro-Priests coming in the 9th Edition Ad Mech codex.

Recently we saw new rules from GW on Warhammer Community and all over the web for the Dark Eldar upcoming release. Looks like Ad Mech might be next right after, with its IKEA style sheets being spotted now.

New Electro-Priest Ad Mech 40k Rules

There was an Ikea style sheet of their rules spotted on forums so let’s compare it to the old sheet and see what’s changed.

New Rules

New Bonuses:

  • Staff flat 2 Damage (was d3)
  • Gauntlets ranged -1 AP (was 0 AP)
  • Gauntlets melee -1 AP (was 0 AP)
  • Gauntlets melee now user +2 Strength (was flat 5 Strength, same total)

What we don’t know:

  • Weapon hit/wounds special rules
  • Invulnerable Save?
  • Damage on charge?
  • 5+ FNP?

Overall, the Electro Priests are getting a slight buff. They aren’t getting buffed as hard as some previous units, but they aren’t getting NERFed either. The Staff going to flat 2 damage removes a dice roll from the game helping to make 9th edition games faster than 8th.

Look for the Ad Mech codex to hit store shelves sometime after the upcoming Drukhari Codex, as it seems to be next major codex release for 40k! We’ve had a rough estimate of the next codexes for a little bit thanks to this old online preview, so any of these faction codex books could also show up soon.

What rules changes do you want to see from the new Ad Mech?
