Wargame Exclusive has a ton of great Ad Mech conversion bits and alternatives- here’s our unboxing of some of our favorites.
Wargame Exclusive has been pretty popular for a while now with lots of hobby stores offering their Grim Skull models. Their kits are insanely detailed and look great on the tabletop! They are also great painting challenges if you are up to the task. Let’s get into it!
We’ll be taking a look at these minis today, but they have so much more for basically every faction on the site! If you need some sweet alternatives, they are definitely worth checking out.
These bits are perfect because you get so many extra bits in the kit that you can use them to make extras with just your bits. Or, if you don’t feel like converting, they have entire models on here as well.Â
They are also fairly affordable when you’re looking at a leader for your forces, a little cheaper than the Games Workshop resin ones. This is super nice, especially when you consider these are boutique resin minis.
Packaging
When you order these, they come in little blisters like this. They also have UPC’s on them so you can stock these as well if you have a store. Speaking of stores they offer retail discounts too, so if you are a shop owner, hit them up if you are looking to carry their models in your store.
The Bits
The detail on these is super crisp and they have plenty of room for some fun paint schemes. The backpacks look pretty awesome as well!
Built Minis
You can see when these are built up they look great with the plastic kits.
When compared with the regular Ad Mech guys, they do look different but that won’t stand out like a sore thumb and look really cool.
The Vanguard version also works very easily and looks great.
Even the sergeant looks great with the upgrades. This is also a great way to future-proof your minis because you can take advantage of a bunch of weapons.
Size Comparison
When compared to the other 40k minis, they fit in perfectly scale-wise.
