New Vigilus, Space Marines & Tau Pricing CONFIRMED!
If you want all the new rules in Vigilus, new Space Marines, or any of the Tau stuff, this might be the week for you to pre-order! Let’s get into all the confirmed pricing.
Codex: T’au Empire $50
Introduce whole civilisations to the glories of the Greater Good, via a crusade of diplomacy or from the barrel of a railgun. Command an advanced empire against the darkness of the galaxy, armed with hope and a hefty dose of high-tech wargear.
The T’au Empire codex includes the rules you need to field your technologically advanced army on the tabletop. It includes a wealth of background lore, stunning artwork, new Crusade rules that let you start your own sphere of expansion, and more.
Tau players rejoice! Will the Tau return to their once dominating competitive performance? Maybe they are boosted up to the middle of the pack? Either way, a rules update is exciting for everyone.
Darkstrider $35
The maverick Sub-commander Darkstrider – El’Myamoto to his friends – is returning to the battlefield with a stunning new miniature, complete with an adorable cluster of scanning drones.
Hunting his foes with the help of an advanced structural analyser and decades of military experience, he’s the perfect addition to any size of T’au army.
Darkstrider’s new model looks amazing! Hopefully, his suite of support is good enough so that he sees plenty of play on the tabletop!
T’au Empire Ethereal $30
This plastic Ethereal is available for the first time outside of the Start Collecting! T’au Empire box. These wise leaders embody the wisdom and unity of the Greater Good and, from atop their lofty hover drones, they invoke the might of the T’au castes to turn the tide of battle.
While this isn’t a new model, it’s still nice for players to finally be able to pick up an ethereal on disk individually.
Combat Patrol: T’au Empire $140
Lead from the front with a Cadre Fireblade supported by a squad of Fire Warriors, while Stealth Battlesuits and a mighty Ghostkeel Battlesuit use their optic camouflage to flank the enemy, all guided by the wisdom of an Ethereal advisor.
Bigger than the previous start collecting, this box contains a suite of models that were great in previous iterations of the book, so hopefully they stay good options in their 9th edition codex.
T’au Empire Dice Set $35
Ensure everyone knows just how much you love the Greater Good with this themed T’au dice set, in the signature colours of the hot-blooded Vior’la Sept.
If you love the faction, show off your devotion with these unique dice.
T’au Empire Datacards $25
These new datacards will keep your suite of abilities close at hand, giving you an easy way to reference T’au Empire Stratagems and the Invocations of the Ethereals.
Datacards are always a great way to learn to armies and speed up those initial first few learning games to get you into the action faster!
War Zone Nachmund: Vigilus Alone $50
As well as a record of the shadow wars and open conflicts raging across the Nachmund Gauntlet – one of the few safe routes into Imperium Nihilus – this book provides an in-depth campaign system for Imperial and Chaos forces (plus xenos allies of convenience), extra Crusade rules for constructing an Army of Faith, a new Army of Renown for sneaky Space Marines, and a codex supplement for the angriest Adepta Sororitas, the Order of the Bloody Rose.
While Tau is the focus, this new narrative-focused book shifts some of the spotlights over to Chaos and Imperium.
War Zone Nachmund: Vigilus Alone Collectors Edition $80
Similarly, you can pick up this collector’s edition instead for a fancy treatment if you are excited about the narrative development.
Crusade Mission Pack: Wars of Faith $40
As well as these new Crusade rules, this book contains 24 new Crusade missions (six each for Combat Patrol-, Incursion-, Strike Force-, and Onslaught-sized games), plus all the requisitions, agendas, and Battle Traits you’ve come to love from Crusade supplements, as well as a table of special upgrades for your priests, who are, as one might expect, extremely useful in a War of Faith.
Crusade Mission Packs are essentially expansions to Crusade, making this a great option to a ton of fans of the game mode.
Space Marine Captain in Gravis Armour $35
As well as three separate helmet options, this Gravis-clad Captain can be armed with a master-crafted power sword, a chainsword – ideal for taking the tasty Teeth of Terra Relic – or two power fists (which are better than one). He’s a superhuman for all seasons. OF WAR.
I heard someone asked for a new Space Marine Captain… just kidding, but at least this new option isn’t just the same old model in a new pose like some of the older “new” models. This model is way cooler than the Dark Imperium box one!
Space Marines Primaris Ancient $35
With two different flags and heads to pick from, this new Primaris Ancient can be posed bracing his banner with a bolt rifle slung stylishly over one shoulder or taunting his foes with a casually held power sword. He’s a fantastic centrepiece to a company mustered for war.
The heraldry from the banner really helps to elevate the Space Marine chapter both as a support piece and as an awesome mini to stand out in a swarm of marines.
Order of the Bloody Rose Dice Set $35
Just like all the other dice, this set is perfect for any fans of the faction/subfaction who want to show off their devotion.
Adeptus Mechanicus: Omnissiah’s Talon $210
It’s been a long time coming for this box, but if you play Ad Mech, be sure to grab this before it sells out. Especially since people have been waiting so long for it, it will probably go fast.
The Spike! 2021 Almanac $50
The Spike! Presents 2021 Almanac ties together all of the content from Spike! Journal issues 11-13, giving you the rules for Necromantic Horror, Black Orc, Imperial Nobility, and Khorne teams in your games of fantasy football.
It’s available in hardback and epub formats, and also includes cool rules for playing All-Star games consisting purely of star players, four-player games of Dungeon Bowl, and the biased referee rules first featured in White Dwarf.
If you are a player of Blood Bowl this new compilation is sure to be helpful, especially if you play one or more of the factions that got rules in issues 11-13.

Gitslayer (Paperback) $16
Black Library travels to the Mortal Realms next week. First up is the paperback release of Gitslayer, which sees everyone’s favourite duardin Gotrek Gurnisson facing off against the Gloomspite Gitz. Can he slay enough grots to save the Kharadron Overlords’ sky-port of Barak-Urbaz?*
As one of the favorite fantasy characters of old, Gotrek continues his rampage in Gitslayer, a great read for anyone who likes a side of a grumpy and violent dwarf.
Gothgul Hollow $16
In a darker corner of the Mortal Realms you’ll find the new Warhammer Horror novel, Gothgul Hollow. This chilling tale centres around an ancient curse, and the four who seek to break it. A scholar, a sorceress, a killer, and a priest – divided by their secrets but bound together by a mystery. Can they bring an end to the sinister manifestations that assail the Hollow?
