Games Workshop has FAQed the Warhammer 40k Imperial Armor FAQ that updated both Imperial and Chaos Knights.
You know the drill, a couple of new books have been out for a little while now, but this time it’s not making changes to the actual codexes but to the Imperial Amor compendium. This time though, they just continue to make more changes and some word clarification, that we guess people were asking about.
Plus, we’re kidding around about the hyphens, but it seems it doesn’t matter for keywords. We’ll check out the previous FAQ as well as this one, considering that had most of the main changes.
Older FAQ
This is pretty simple but now they are called Noble Households, so obviously, the keyword needed to be changed. Then, all the Imperial Knights gain the Code Chivalric rule as well.
Nothing crazy here, they just change from a vehicle squadron to an Armiger Squadron.
Then, for all the Chaos Knights, there are similar changes with all the Chaos Knights gaining the Harbingers of Dread keyword. Then, the War Dog gets the same treatment where it goes from Vehicle Squadron to War Dog Squadron.
GW FAQs the Imperial Armor FAQ & Hyphens aren’t Real
This is really more of the same as the last one with all the Knights getting the correct keywords and Code Chivalric.
This is where those hyphens aren’t real. Honestly, though, it makes sense and if your opponent was giving you a hard time about the hyphen, we’re glad they put this in.
Last but not least, all the Chaos Knights also pick up the correct keywords and Harbingers of Dread.
That’s really it this time around, a nice small FAQ to just change keywords, and it is nice to see nothing nerfed yet.
