Death Guard – Legion Cataphractii Praetor: $49

Daeth Guard Praetor Horus Heresy

The XIV Legion epitomise the steady, inexorable advance of time, prioritising stubborn resilience over all else. Powerful suits of Cataphractii armour allow their elite warriors to advance through storms of enemy fire and reap a screaming crop of lives with their crackling blades.

When a touch more mobility is called for, Praetors can opt for an immaculately crafted suit of artificer power armour, in the Mark III ‘Iron’ style. More importantly, this ominous figure carries the iconic weapon of his Legion – a wicked power scythe.

This model makes an excellent addition to any Death Guard army, festooned with wargear characteristic of his Legion – but he’s also a fantastic painting project for collectors. Dripping with details and a variety of textures, he’s a perfect opportunity to flex your hobby skills.

This kit comprises 11 resin components and is supplied with a Citadel 32mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.

Corswain, Paladin of the Ninth Order: $55

Corswain, Paladin of the Ninth Order

The legendary Dark Angels hero Corswain makes his way to the battlefield with a beautiful resin miniature from Forge World. With strategic brilliance and swordsmanship to rival the best of other Legions, the Primarch’s hand-picked Seneschal is dogged in his determination to hunt down Typhus of the Death Guard.

Forge World

He’s clad in the Armour of the Forest – a highly detailed and ornate suit of artificer armour forged by the Lion himself, which is covered in the symbols of his high rank within his Legion, such as the keys hung from his belt and Hexagrammaton mark adorning his buckle. He comes with a choice of two heads – a winged helmet, or a bare head with the hood of his mantle raised.

This kit comprises 13 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 32mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.

Death Guard MKIV Shoulder Pads: $23

The kit includes nine helmeted heads in three different designs, each with a sinister trench spike and industrial rivets, as well as two heads designed for Sergeants – one bare head with a rebreather, and one helm with a unique grille and imposing spike. Spread these components around your army to add some XIV Legion flavour, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look.

This upgrade kit comprises 11 resin components and is designed to be assembled with the MKVI Tactical Squad set, which is sold separately.

Blood Angels MKVI Heads: $23

Blood Angels HH Upgrades 2

The Blood Angels have long been fans of aesthetic beauty, and the new Mark VI helmet set from Forge World perfectly reflects their artistic tendencies. Along with nine helmets for your troops in three designs, there’s a Sergeant’s helm and a bare head, showing off lush locks with a centre parting. It was the style at the time on Baal during the Horus Heresy.

Blood Angels MKVI Shoulder Pads: $23

Blood Angels HH Upgrades 3

Sanguinius is bound to be happy with those new looks. As with the other Legions, such as the Death Guard, White Scars, and Emperor’s Children, there’s also a set of moulded shoulder pads coming out – the ideal way to finish off your miniatures.

Will you be picking any of these up? Which is your favorite?
