Dominaria Remastered 2There will be four products for Dominaria Remastered, so there are plenty of ways to grab the new cards!

We will go over the Rares/Mythics and our top picks, but if you want to check the full spoiler, you can over at Mythic Spoiler

The Best Mythics & Rares From Magic The Gathering Dominaria Remastered

We’ll keep it simple and go in WUBRG order, followed by multicolor, colorless, and finishing off with lands!

dmr white rare+

In white, we’ve got some OG cards for flavor, like Serra Avatar and Wrath of God, but the real reprint value is in Enlightened Tutor, which is a fantastic Staple in white commander decks!

dmr blue rare+

In blue, we’ve got five Fantastic reprints. You could argue that Urza and Force of Will are absurd cards that see play and needed the reprint to lower the prices a bit. Mystic Remora, Mystical Tutor, and Time Stretch are all great Commander cards that are sure to excite people who don’t have copies already!

If you get any of the Blue Mythics, you’re a pretty happy camper.

dmr black rare+Black has more flavor inclusions than the previous colors but still has three fantastic cards. Yawgmoth has his own modern deck and is a serious threat in Commander. Vampiric is a staple and needed the reprint to drop its secondary price. Lastly, Entomb isn’t too expensive but is a seriously good card, so lower prices are always good!

dmr red rare+

Red has some Competitive EDH Staples in Worldgorger, Sneak Attack, Gamble, and Last Chance. All of these are super unique cards that lots of people want, so the reprints are great choices from WotC! Not to mention, Worldgorger’s new art is amazing.

dmr green rare+In all honesty, Green Mythics are lacking, but Sylvan Library is a super good hit, as it’s insane and really needed the reprint. For Rares, Exploration, Worldly Tutor, and Birds of Paradise are all staples and great reprints this go around.

dmr multi rare+

Multicolor only has one Mythic, and it’s alright. The rares, on the other hand, are all just decent. Zur is a fantastic commander, but none of these are exceptionally expensive cards.

dmr colorless rare+

Artifacts have a few great reprints. Urza’s Incubator, Gauntlet of Power, Helm of Awakening, and Crawlspace are all great reprints. The only downside is that WotC upgraded Urza’s Incubator’s rarity to Mythic, which may sell more packs. I remember paying $7 for one. Now they are well over $25 and probably won’t come down too much with this reprint, but it’s still a reprint and that helps!

dmr lands rare+Lands only really offer Dark Depths as a notable reprint. The check land cycle is fine, but only really good in budget decks with extra Basics to ensure they enter untapped. As more lands are created that enter untapped, the ones that enter untapped only under a condition get worse… But still, these are great options for budget players, and their prices will only get cheaper after this printing!

Those are all our favorite Magic cards we’ve seen in Dominaria Remastered so far. Sure there are borderless, and retro versions that will break the bank, but that’s what makes opening packs so much fun.
