The Duncan Rhodes Two Thin Coats Wave 2 Kickstarter is live and already has an insane amount of backers- check it out!
The first wave was also a Kickstarter and did really well, so it only makes sense that they keep the line going. We’ll look at the new line and what will be included and then jump into where you can currently score the first line and what’s in it.
The project was funded in seconds, and they are already over $600,000, so there’s a chance it breaks a million once again! The new line will have another 60 paints and plenty of stretch goals.

Once again, the Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy and Trans Atlantis Games have come together to create a brand-new wave of 60 more paints for miniatures and models! This second wave doubles the size of the Two Thin Coats range!
Two Thin Coats Wave 2 builds on the same high-quality formulas as Wave 1, mixing high pigment count with a smooth base to give your miniatures an amazing finish.
We’ve added 13 brand new triads to the range, with additional tones of red and blue, as well as adding Turquoise, Pink and Jade Green to the mix.
We’ve expanded on our range of skin tones as well rounding out the range with an Olive Drab set of tones, a Green Grey as well as a set of Ochres!
Pledge Levels:
In order to keep our campaign as simple and quick to fulfil as possible, we have decided to only include 3 reward tiers in this campaign plus an Early Bird Special for Wave 2. Backers can pledge for either a complete set of Wave 2, a complete set of Wave 1, or both sets together! Additional complete sets will be available to purchase in the Pledge Manager.
