More Games Workshop increases are on the way if you live in Poland, as the big global price adjustment is rapidly approaching this spring.
Games price increases are nothing new, and for the past two years, they have happened globally in March. However, the new ones for October 2023 seem to be targeted to a single region in Europe, much like the cost increases that hit the UK in November of 2022.
More Price Increases Announced By Games Workshop
Polish retailers have reported the price increase, but it could always mean more on the way for the rest of the world. Just last year, we saw a significant cost increase for UK retailers, and in March of this year, there was a 6% price increase for more than 3,000 products.
So, it’s nothing out of the ordinary to see adjustments from GW, but this latest one seems to be on top of the March 6% increase from this year (as that was a global increase).
Latest List of Games Workshop Price Increases
The official list of GW price increases includes over 1,400 items, with almost every model kit and paint going up in price.
You can find the official list of all the increases by going to the GW Trade site and downloading the document titled Zmiana Cen Games Workshop 02.10.2023 to look at and download all the changes for yourself.
If you change your location to Poland on either the Games Workshop or Forge World website, you’ll see the notices above.
Polisher retailer GNOM recently put out this statement alerting customers to get their orders in now to offset the increases:
Dear customers,
We would like to inform you about the planned price increases for Games Workshop products, which will be in effect in our store starting from September 28 of this current year. In light of this change, we are offering you the opportunity to place orders at the current prices until that date.
If you have your eye on any favorite figurines, sets, or other Games Workshop products, now is the perfect time to order them and save before the upcoming price hike. Your loyalty and support for our store mean a great deal to us, which is why we want to provide you with this chance.
At this point, we don’t know if a similar price hike will hit the rest of the world or if GW will wait until the spring to raise prices again on a larger scale.
So, if you’re a hobbyist in Poland, you may want to get your orders in before the price hikes hit!
