Slaanesh (and 40k Emperor’s Children) has some amazing miniatures, but here are six of our favorite alternative models that aren’t from GW or Forge World!
It’s been a while now since Slaanesh got much support from GW (at least on the 40k side), but don’t worry. There are plenty of other companies out there constantly coming out with some of the coolest models all the time!
Best Alternative Slaanesh & Emperor’s Children 40k Models
Obviously, these are just some of our favorites, but if you have other ones you love, let us know! We’re always looking for amazing miniatures to hobby on ourselves. Also, these aren’t in any particular order, so we think any of them would be great to pick up.
Queen of Ecstasy: $145
This is one of the wildest creations from Creature Caster, and if you need an army centerpiece and a great hobby project, you can’t go wrong with this!
This has been in the lineup for a while now, but it’s just so hard to beat! Here are the specs on the model:
Height: 185mm
Base: 100mm round
Material: pure, unfilled resin
Twisted Sisters Band: $54.99
This band from Artel is a little different, but they are all so much fun. Who doesn’t want some music as they are running the enemy off the board? They would make amazing characters or an alternative squad.
They’re out on their epic world(s) tour, still ravenous for glory, hype, chaos, and, well… a few souls along the way. This isn’t your typical girl band singing about sweet love—nope, love’s for suckers. Unless, of course, it’s love for the Gods of the Abyss and some hardcore rock. They’re coming in hot, so what are you waiting for? Go to one of their gigs and get ready to face your Death from Above and burn in Hell for all eternity
Hell Raiser Terminators Squad: $48.99
The new Hell Raisers Terminators from Pop Goes the Monkey are some amazing minis and are a great alternative for Emperor’s Children!
The Hell Raiser Terminators unleash their battle cries, tearing through the battlefield with their massive Flensing Spears and shoulder-mounted combolters, shredding enemies from a distance. Dressed in ancient Mk3 Saturnus-Pattern Armor, now twisted and corrupted by the Dark Prince of Excess, they are a terrifying sight. These brutal warriors are the twisted creations of free-blade artist KarnageKing, who sculpted them into the fearsome forces they are today.
Alternative Fulgrim From 3DArtGuy:
This is one of the cleanest Fulgrim alternatives we’ve ever seen!
He is a 3D print, but if you have a printer, we don’t see how you can pass up on this amazing model!
Ghamak Fiends Alternatives:
If you want some fiends for cheap, these are hard to pass up! We have them in our 3D printed store, but if you have a printer, you can also score the STL files from Ghamak here!
They have a bunch of variations, so plenty to fill out your army!
Children of Ecstasy: $52
These Children of Ecstasy from Creature Caster will make great Daemonettes alternative models, and it only makes sense to bookend with CC, as they have some of the coolest Deamon miniatures out there!
The Children of Ecstasy are the faction’s footsoldiers, forever living in the double-edged state of eternal bliss. Like all their kin, they drift through life in near-constant euphoria, carefree and wanting for nothing. Their attention spans are as fleeting as their whims—they’ll obsess over something as mundane as a pebble one minute, then completely forget about it the next when something shinier comes along. Focus? Purpose? Motivation? Yeah, those are foreign concepts to these blissed-out wanderers.
Overall, Slaanesh has some amazing alternatives to help your army stand out on the tabletop and the shelf!
