The tournament is over, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies with our commentary on their selections. Editor’s Note: This was a team event, so pairings may have been in a vacuum. Still, these are all meta lists and methodologies.
3rd Place: Arthur Tu – Chaos Space Marines
2nd Place: Ryan Mead – Chaos Daemons
1st Place: Jay Eggett – Chaos Space Marines
Jay’s Chaos Space Marine list was led by a single Warpsmith for a solid body and some vehicle support. Troops are only a simple Cultist Mob to help soak wounds or sit on objectives. The first vehicles are two units of Chaos Bikers for some mobility and some meltas to help target enemy threats.
Three Chaos Predators bring in some tanks for some extra AP ranged shots, while three Vindicators bring a tad more oomph in their shots.
Two Helbrutes and two Maulerfiends bring in slower armored threats each focusing in close range damage output.
Two Venomcrawlers are the last units and come in as very point-efficient balanced models.
