Hidden in plain sight from the latest previews, there could be another Necron terrain piece on the way after Indomitus…
Recently, the Silent King was given the spotlight with a close-up look at his model. However, behind the Silent King, there’s some kind of terrain piece that we’ve also noticed.
Another Necron Terrain Piece Hidden in Plain Sight?
Before we jump in, it’s important to talk about the confirmed terrain pieces we’ve seen revealed for the Necrons. These are the Dominion Convergence towers that have been hinted toward flinging models up the board in-game. Pretty sweet.
Now let’s jump into what was hidden in plain sight. The Silent King preview came days after we saw the Dominion of Convergence as well as all the other goodies coming inside the Indomitus Box Set.
So what on the Emperor’s green earth is that thing behind him? It looks like an experimental Ring Pop charging factory.

Seriously, lol what is that. If this is a troll on the part of Games Workshop, then it is hilarious. However “what if’s aside”, the gem does look well painted, and the energy bits do look a lot like current designs from endless spells to even the new Necon line themselves.
Perhaps its a reboot of the old Necron Tomb Citadel? Actually now that we look at it the pyramid in the graphic above seems to match up exactly with this board’s top ziggurat.
Only time will tell if this is a red herring or if perhaps there are even more new releases on the way for Necrons after Indomitus!
