GW just revealed some spicy new endless spells for the new Lumineth Realm-Lords! Check out a brand new batch of endless spells that are headed our way soon.
Coming from Warhammer Community, the Lumineth Realm-Lords endless spells have been revealed as well as some rules to go along. Check out the details and how they may shake out against the current AoS meta.
New Lumineth Realm-Lords Endless Spells

This is the one front and center placed in a circle. As far as the way it’s set up, it looks similar to the Sylvaneth Wyldwoods.
Manifesting as a ritual circle, the life force of the realm pours forth from the ground to create a crackling shield. The rune form of Yngra can be seen, synonymous with ‘rescue’ – and ‘imprisonment’. Incoming harmful attacks and energies are converted into flashes and whip-cracks of light, lashing out at any foe foolish enough to come too close.Â

This is probably going to be a spell that you’re better off dispelling than trying to work around. Even more-so in objective-based games where someone might plant this spell on a primary objective.Â
Hyshian Twinstones

Two matching prism-like gems, each larger than an aelf, hover in the air in a slow orbit when summoned. They act as reservoirs of arcane power, each collecting aetheric energy and charging the other. A skilled Lumineth Realm-lords Wizard can draw on nearby Twinstones to enhance their own abilities.
Being that the stones are from the realm of light, there’s probably no chance of it dealing mortal wounds to an enemy or anything. It’ll more than likely heal/improve combat stats to a wizard only.
Rune of Petrification

When summoned, stones assemble into a ponderous mystical rune on tendrils of swirling energy. A thing of dread even for the Lumineth, the Rune of Petrification cannot easily be dispelled once released, and its power is oppressive. Nearby enemies will begin turning to stone in a matter of moments, eventually becoming inert statues if they remain in its presence.Â

If you play a melee-heavy army that doesn’t have any Wizards in the list, that’ll be a big RIP for you.
The saving grace to all of these spells depends if they’re predatory. If both players can move these spells around, they may not be too bad. But if they come with a trick similar to how the Ossiarch Bonereapers work, they’re going to have a very strong Hero Phase.
What do you think about the rules and models on these spells? Which one seems the most powerful based on what we know so far?
