Remember the Salamanders dice? After the Ultramarines and White Scars dropped, we haven’t seen any mention of dice for the new Chapters since…
If you’ve been keeping track of the normal GW release flow, usually, there’s a dice pack for any game. Whether it be Gloomspite Gitz and their Squig dice, Aeronautica Imperialis and D6’s with the Imperial/Orkish logos, or Blood Bowl with team dice, they usually accompany every faction getting support. Space Marines have been some of the most hyped releases recently for 40k and there are Chapters with no word on the dice.
Ultramarines & White Scar Dice $35
At the start of the codex supplement train, Ultramarines and White Scars were first. They both got their dice packs and looked to set the stage for the rest of the releases of supplement books.
To add even more to this, White Scars dice were spotted early on (Around the time of the Ultramarines and White Scars book) with a Salamanders sticker where the White Scars sticker should really be. We’re no experts, but judging by the glare and other details on the pic, it didn’t appear to be Photoshopped.

No Mention of Dice for Raven Guard or Iron Hands
Both Iron Hands and Raven Guard have had their supplements and new character models for weeks now and it seems GW is already moving onto the next Chapters down the line.
We saw both Chapters get the Primaris character treatment, rules, and even upgrade sprues/transfer sheets just like the Ultramarines and White Scars. The only thing that was missing was the dice.
No Mention of Dice for Imperial Fists or Salamanders
Warhammer Community has already revealed what’s ready for pre-order and in the list of Marine support just around the corner, the only thing missing once again is dice. Imperial Fists and Salamanders look to be going without their Chapter-specific D6’s as well.
Looking at the Salamanders specifically, now that we’ve seen everything for the faction on the way, there are no Salamanders dice…However, the picture from above showed White Scars dice labeled as Salamanders Dice.
Is there something going on behind GW for a later release that’ll involve the Chapters who didn’t get their dice? Or could the Salamander dice pic have just been from someone who pulled off the photo-shop of the century with way too much time on their hands?
