The Separatist Alliance is getting some reinforcements soon in the way of the HMP Droid Gunship. The droids are here to rule!
Fantasy Flight Games is not kidding around when it comes to new expansions! It seems like we have gotten a new expansion pack nearly every week from them. For those of us who love Star Wars: X-wing, this seems like a golden age of the game.
This week they are throwing in another Separatist ship with some serious firepower. The expansion pack has everything you need to play with and customize the ship to your exact needs. It’s always fun to be able to change the upgrades to change how your ships play. Let’s take a closer look at the expansion from FFG:
HMP Droid Gunship Box:
The Separatist Alliance is not going to go down without a fight! The gunship is able to sideslip making it far more maneuverable than most ships and continue to constantly attack the enemy with its powerful weaponry. If you love Starwars: X-wing, go check out what else is going on with it.
The Mini:
The ship in all it’s droid glory! We would love to see someone convert a few drones flying on it like the picture. If you’ve been looking to add some serious firepower to your fleet, this is the way to go. Because not only do they have heavy mounted weaponry for strafing runs, they can also carry payloads of concussion bombs that can cripple entire fleets. The perfect first strike before the rest of your drone ships overwhelms the enemy!
Gunship Cards:
You can customize your ship in so many ways with the cards. It really adds a ton of variety to the system and allows you to change up how your ships play from game to game. Whether you want to try some more experimental ships or stick with the old classics, you can play whatever your heart desires.
