Don’t miss this new Marvel Crisis Protocol Asgardians / Heimdall and Skurgeunboxing as we check out the newest AMG offerings!
Rob is back unboxing the new MCP minis. He’ll see what it takes to get them ready for the tabletop, show the models’ size, and tell you the GOTCHAS to be aware of when building them!
We are going to show you everything, including the sprues, bits, and of course, the size. That way, you can decide if this is worth your hard-earned hobby dollars.
These are the two boxes we’ll be looking at today and actually, the affiliation packs are a good way to get into the game and save some cash. This lets you get four models for a certain faction and a quick way to start up with the game.
Unboxing Asgardians
As you see, you get all the cards, bits and everything you need! It’s really nice to get rules with every release as you don’t have to buy something separately, plus they have the new styled cards inside as well.
On top of that, you also get all the tactics cards and some that are hard to find if you bought both packs separately.
These are the new hard plastic sprues and they have gotten better recently, but the older ones still have a few issues.
As you can see though, they have plenty of details and even have some extras like bottles and cans for the bases.
Heimdall & Skurge Unboxing
Just like the other box, you get all the cards and everything inside the expansion.
These are newer models and you can see how much better the sprues are with tons of detail. Before we go too far into how they build, Rob wanted to show you how he stores his minis. Since you don’t need as many models, you want to keep them safe!
How to Store Your Minis
He uses the double deep case fromArtbinfor this, all you have to do is putlittle magnetson the bottom of your minis’ bases, then throw down a piece ofsheet metalwith somedouble-sided tapeon the bottom. And boom, you can transport all of your minis safely to wherever without much hassle!
Assembled Minis
Heimdall just looks great, and they really upped the detail on this model.
When compared to Thor, he’s quite chonky!
Skurge is also quite large and really looks great!
Valkyrie is a little smaller, but still a pretty big model!
Hela comes on a larger base but about the same size as Loki. Overall, they are all pretty easy to build and nothing big to watch out for. Overall, this is a cool pack and a really decent faction that isn’t too strong but definitely not weak.
