New Darkoath, Slaves To Darkness, Dawnbringers, and more AoS will be available for pre-order next week!
This week focuses on Chaos in AoS, but there’s also some MTO terrain for 40k for those who want to expand their collection, so it’s still a good one for plenty of hobbyists!
New AoS Darkoath, Slaves To Darkness & Pre-Order Revealed
New Warhammer 40k releases were announced for pre-order, including the new and returning AoS models for Slaves to Darkness Darkoath, and the Dawnbringers Series.
Here is the product lineup that will be available to pre-order with your favorite retailers on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, around 1 p.m. EST in the States.
Dawnbringers: Book VI – Hounds of Chaos
Dawnbringers VI’s “Hounds of Chaos” includes warscrolls for Abraxia, the Spear of the Everchosen, new Darkoath units, and a Regiment of Renown called Brand’s Oathbound.
Additionally, it introduces two Armies of Renown: the Swords of Chaos, led by Abraxia and her loyal Varanguard, a powerful group of Darkoath warriors.
Abraxia’s Varanspear
The fearsome main character of Dawnbringers VI – Abraxia, arrives on the battleground with her elite Varanguard heavy cavalry to carry out the Everchosen’s wishes. Abraxia’s Varanspear serves as the vanguard of the Swords of Chaos, a renowned army featured in Dawnbringers VI.
Brand’s Oathbound
This warband can be utilized as three distinct warscrolls with unique abilities, which come together to create the unit featured in the Hammer and Bolter episode Monsters.
Additionally, any Grand Alliance Chaos faction can summon them to enhance the strength of their army.
Darkoath Chieftain on Warsteed
The Chieftan kit includes multiple components, such as two weapon options (an axe or a sword), three head choices, and the option to equip your steed with a bladed headpiece.
Darkoath Wilderfiend
Darkoath warriors who neglect their sworn oaths are cursed by the gods and undergo a transformation, turning into brutal monsters known as Wilderfiends. Their fellow Darkoath regard these creatures with respect, believing they will protect them as long as they are placated with sacrifices.
The Wilderfiends eagerly join battles with their razor-sharp claws and an unending craving for human flesh. This kit offers a variety of customization choices.
Darkoath Marauders
A unit of 10 Darkoath Marauders offers numerous customization options, including different heads and shields, a selection of two weapon types, and parts to equip the unit with a Doombeater, Icon Bearer, and a Darkoath Champion.
Darkoath Fellriders
This unit of five miniatures offers the option to be equipped with either weapon and can be extensively customized with 15 head options, interchangeable mount accessories, and gear to designate two riders as an Icon Bearer and Hornblower.
Nexus Chaotica
The sinister Nexus Chaotica terrain piece is designed to strike fear into enemies’ hearts and harness the Dark Gods’ dark power. This imposing structure serves as more than just a battlefield monument, as it accumulates power points that can enhance spells cast by WIZARDS and taint objectives and terrain with malevolent Chaos energies.
Sekhar, Fang of Nulahmia
Sekhar serves as Neferata’s chosen agent. She is a Soulblight vampire with exceptional hypnotic abilities that allow her to manipulate the minds of enemy soldiers. Additionally, she is a skilled sorcerer and formidable fighter, using her swift reflexes to evade most enemy attacks.
Krethusa the Croneseer
This is Krethusa’s first separate standalone appearance, bringing foresight and deadly shadow magic to augment aelves in Dawnbringers Book V. Krethusa serves as a formidable leader for renegade Daughters of Khaine forces and leads the Croneseer’s Pariahs Army of Renown.
