Is It Worth It?
This box actually brings some pretty solid value. It is definitely on the higher end compared to a lot of the Spearheads out there, but most of that value is tied up in the characters. So if you were hoping for a box stuffed with rank-and-file army filler, this probably isn’t the one for you.
That said, if you want or need the characters in this box, the value is pretty tough to pass up.

If you’re wondering about the Cities of Sigmar Spearhead points? In games of Age of Sigmar, this box hits with about 550 points.
What to Buy Next?
What you buy next really depends on where you want to take the army, because this box gives you a strong character core but not a ton of extra bodies. Grabbing more Steelhelms or other basic infantry is the easy next move if you want to flesh out the force and actually put some board control behind all those heroes.
After that, adding one of the heavier Cities kits or a few faster support pieces can help round things out so the army does more than just look faithful and expensive on the shelf.
OOP 2025 Version:
This Out of Print (OOP) 2025 Cities of Sigmar Spearhead box was actually smaller than the new box in terms of value, but it had a lot of actual foot troops. Released on June 14th, 2025, it actually pairs pretty well with the new 2026 version of the box.
At a $145 price tag and an MSRP value of $217.50, it gave you about $72.50 in savings, assuming you actually needed everything in the box.

Final Thoughts on the Cities of Sigmar Spearhead
At the end of the day, the new Zenestra’s Zealots looks like a pretty solid Spearhead if you want a Cities force with a strong character-driven core and some real tabletop flavor. It’s not the kind of box that floods you with bodies or gives you a little bit of everything, but if these kits are already on your wishlist, the value and style are both easy to like.
For new players and existing Cities fans alike, this one feels less like a throwaway bundle and more like a box you can actually build around.
