Games Workshop’s new Ogor Mawtribes Spearhead release date is June 14th, 2025. Plus, the Ogor Mawtribes Spearhead retail price is $145, just like the previous releases.

Is It Worth It?
We think this box has pretty subpar value. Compared with the more recent boxes, they generally try to give about $65-70 in value, but this doesn’t even have $55. However, the Hrothgorn’s Mantrappers box is sold out on GW’s store and goes for about $80 on the secondary market, so there is some intrinsic value there if you really want the models.
The fact that you get half a Gnoblars box is also strange. Give us the extra $20 in value from that box, and this is on par with the other boxes! Either way, this is a decent way to get an Ogor Mawtribes force on the table quickly if this is the only bundle you have access to.

What to Buy Next?
While this box doesn’t have as much in terms of raw value, it contains a ton of points! So, you probably want to grab some cheaper Ogor infantry, some more shooting (either Leadbelchers or more War Machines).
After you get your scoring and long-range figured out, you’ll need some magic to propel your forces forward. For that, you’ll need at least one Butcher, but then, you can’t really go too wrong with getting a Mawpit as well.
OOP 2022 Version:
The Out of Print (OOP) 2022 Ogor Mawtribes Spearhead box was the Maw’s little gift to new players. Released on November 12th, 2022, this set was packed to the brim with 18 models.
At a $145 price tag and an MSRP value of $217, it gave you about $72 in savings, assuming you actually needed everything in the box.

Final Thoughts on the Scrapglutt Spearhead
The Scrapglutt Spearhead box is a bit of a mixed bag of meat. You’re getting a decent chunk of points, 850 is nothing to sneeze at, but the raw dollar value is trailing behind its Spearhead cousins.
Still, for Ogor players itching to get rolling fast (or just desperate to get their grubby mitts on Hrothgorn’s crew), it’s a solid launchpad.
If this is your first taste of Ogor goodness or you’re looking to plug some gaps in your warband, it’s not a bad pickup. Just don’t expect it to win the “best bang for your buck” trophy at the Spearhead Awards.
