New Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Warcry Pre-Orders
The latest pre-order releases are here, and these new additions promise to bring fresh excitement and intense skirmish battles to your tabletop. From fierce new warbands boasting unique abilities and stunning sculpts to intricate terrain pieces that will transform your battlefield, these pre-orders will take your games of Warcry to the next level.
Warcry: Briar and Bone
In Warcry: Briar and Bone, there’s an intense battle taking place in the Gnarlwood as the Teratic Cohort try to collect the bone tithe from the corpse-strewn wilds. They encounter the warped and tortured Twistweald in this life-and-death struggle. Along with these two new warbands, the set includes a new Ravening Gnarloak scenery piece—an ominous chained tree capable of swallowing fighters whole. There’s also a 64-page softback Warband Tome: Briar and Bone, 12 fighter cards, three ability cards, three divider cards, and 42 battleplan cards.
The Ossiarch Bonereapers who disappoint Nagash can be transformed into lesser constructs known as Teratic Cohorts. These cohorts are specifically designed to effectively pursue and eliminate their enemies as a way to regain their honor. The Twistweald, a group of Sylvaneth, are plagued by sinister parasitic plants that drive them into a frenzied state, torn between spreading their seeds to new hosts and eradicating infections from the Gnarlwood.
Ydrilan Riverblades
The Lumineth Realm-lords harness spirits from Hysh to gain power and expertise in combat. The Ydrilan Riverblades are dedicated to the water, embodying the speed and persistence of a river’s current with their fluid and graceful movements. This independent warband of 10 multipart plastic miniatures, previously exclusive to the Warcry: Pyre and Flood box set, is adept at counterattacks and repositioning. It includes fighter cards and ability cards to aid in their mission to cleanse the tributaries of the Gnarlwood.
Pyregheists
For those who sought to preserve the souls of the dead with sacred fires and blessed unguents, Nagash crafted a cruel fate: an afterlife as Pyregheists, forever consumed by eternal balefire. These tormented souls now seek to punish anyone attempting to deny the Grand Necromancer his due, keeping the braziers of Nagashizzar burning with mortal flesh and soul-matter. This standalone warband, consisting of eight multipart plastic miniatures—previously available only in the Pyre and Flood box set—sets their surroundings and foes ablaze with roaring balefire. The set includes fighter cards and an ability card, equipping players to ignite all who oppose Nagash.
Idol of the Old Ones
The Seraphon temple-ship, Eye of Chotec, once adorned with immaculately carved statues, now has its treasures scattered across the Gnarlwood. These statues, embedded with valuable jewels and powerful arcane devices, serve as sentry weapons that unleash beams of burning energy upon their enemies. They also provide handy platforms for agile fighters to scurry atop, making them excellent additions to any Warcry scenery collection.
