The New Kingdom Egyptians miniatures from Wargames Atlantic are looking dope and could make the perfect alternative Tomb Kings and more!
Wargames Atlantic is always coming out with incredible new models and their kits are always affordable and full of detail. These new sets look to be no different and just the previews are getting us excited.
The minis in the new kits are already looking great, and if they’re anything like their other kits, we know that means tons of bits and minis for very affordable prices! There’s also a very certain ancient faction we’re looking at using these for, see if you can’t guess which one. They also have another preview for the Boxer Rebellion minis, so we’ll also take a look at that. Let’s get into the preview!
New Kingdom Egyptians Could Make Great “Tomb Kings” Alternatives
While they aren’t undead, you could still totally turn this into an awesome army, maybe before they all died out, or just as alternatives because they look so similar. Plus, like with all of their sets, we know there will be plenty of awesome bits and options. Still, they are already so cool-looking, we can’t see a reason to not get them especially to make some alternative Tomb Kings!

Sculpting work continues on the New Kingdom Egyptians. Still some work to do but we were interested in receiving feedback on them. The plan is to have a box of archers and a box of spearmen/hand weapons. These will be part of our First Empires range.
The archers and swordsmen look great and you know what those shields look similar to? Well, if you do, then you’re already thinking about all the great conversions you could do with these. Then, since these are the first in the line, we’re excited to see what else they have coming out.
Boxer Rebellion T1
The Chinese warriors for the Boxer Rebellion are almost finished tooling. We expect to have a T1 (first test shot) around December 27th. Once we have photos of the sprue from the factory floor we can show it off and production and boxing will be not too far behind.
While we wait here are the final sprue contents above.
