How To Paint Battle Ready Imperial Fists: Painting Tutorial
He starts by priming this black; now let’s see how to make it battle-ready!
Step 1:
He starts with Screamer Pink through the airbrush and hits the whole model with it. Next, he loads up Yriel Yellow and hits the model from the top down. However, since you want the entire thing yellow, you will have to spray from the bottom at times to hit the legs and things (be careful not to go too crazy from the bottom).
He then adds Skeleton Bone to the yellow mix and does a further highlight on all the armor from the top down.
Step 2:
Now it’s time for the brush. He starts with Casandora Yellow and does a clean coat over all the yellow, which will smooth everything out. Next, it’s time just to fill in the colors around the armor. He paints the gun black along with the outlines and anywhere he wants it.
Then, silver on all the metal areas and brown for the leather and pouches. To highlight the leather, he mixes Rhinox Hide with Bone and quickly highlights all the leather.
Step 3:
Next, he goes in with the Nuln Oil on everything that’s not yellow and uses that to blend everything. He returns to the Screamer Pink for the plasma gun and just sprays all around the gun to give a quick and easy OSL effect.
To finish off the effect, he comes in with a white and throws some streak lines along the gun, where the rivets are.
