There are four new Broken Realms Warbands on the way, let’s see what kind of value you can get from each box!
With the Lumineth Realm-lords getting a bunch of new releases, these Warbands didn’t get a ton of fanfare, but they could really be worth the cash! Let’s see if these are actually worth your hobby dollars and if you can get some decent value out of them.
New Broken Realms Warbands: What is the Value?
These are usually a good way to either start an army or bolster what you have, without spending too much. A lot of the ones featured here are a little bit older minis, but they are all part of the new rules in the latest Broken Realms Teclis Book.
Invidian Plaguehost $90
Besides having unique rules inside Broken Realms Teclis. This Warband features a good assortment of Plaguebearers and characters if you wanted to bolster a Nurgle daemon army.

- Sloppity Bilepiper $34
- Spoilpox Scrivener $34
Total MSRP: $140
Value: $50
If you need the Plaguebearers, this is a decent value. You’d be paying over $70 for just them, so basically you’re grabbing the characters for more or less free. Overall, this is a pretty decent value if you’re starting out with the army, or just love Plaguebearers.
Xintil War-magi $80
This Warband features some older models. But with unique rules in the book, it may be worth giving them a second shot. Let’s see the value!
- Celestial Hurricanum $60
- Luminark of Hysh $60
Total MSRP: $120
Value: $40
This one is interesting because you only get a few minis, but if you want them all, this saves you $40. This seems a niche Warband, but hey, if you need it, definitely some value to be had.
Mortevell’s Helcourt $80
Just like the Nurgle Daemons, there are unique rules inside Broken Realms Teclis that this Warband can use. However, it still features a good assortment of Flesheaters and characters. If you wanted to bolster an army.
- 3 Crypt Horrors $50
- 20 Crypt Ghouls $40
- Abhorrant Archregent $30
Total MSRP: $120
Value: $40
If you need a lot of Ghouls, you are getting a decent value. There’s nothing too crazy in here, but hey, saving $40 is saving $40!
Horrek’s Dreadlance $115
This Warband is a little more elite than the Flesheaters or Nurgle Daemons. But they still feature some great models. If you wanted cavalry for an undead list, there’s enough here to fill it up.
- Liege-Kavalos $50
- 10 Kavalos Deathriders $120
Total MSRP: $170
Value: $55
This actually has the best value but is also the most expensive. Again, if you want to make an undead cavalry army this is a decent way to build up your force!
