Hidden within the short previews flexing the new Space Wolf codex that’s on the way, there was a short camera panning that might have captured a piece of what we can only vaguely guess may be a Chaos Yeti.
It sounds crazy but look for yourself…

Chaos Yeti Spotted in Space Wolf Codex Preview?
We’ve got the full video from WarhammerTV if you want to check it out. Just remember, it’s very quick and easy to miss.
Like normal Yeti sightings, the camera is out of focus. But if you look closely, the Space Wolves are facing off against something with white fur and an old sword.
The white fur is easy to miss in the snowy display, but you can see something clearly standing above the base of the Space Wolves. From the orientation, it looks like the back of whatever this thing is is facing us. It’s holding a sword in its left hand and has what looks to potentially be a Chaos eight-points symbol sticking out of its neck.
This highlight shows some decent outlines of the model. If you look, it seems like it’s also putting off some kind of bright, icy blue power. It’s found on the sword as well as what looks to be the nape of the neck where that piece of metal is protruding out of.
Bottom line, it looks like the GW team put two factions against each other and purposely cropped just enough out of this mystery figure to have us scratch our heads. It’s easily replicable. Just look at this past army display.

If you just zoom in, you can pull all of the attention to the Blood Angels, and if we didn’t already know who the Death Guard were, the internet would be lit on fire with the talk of new Plague Marines.
