After the model has some simple pre-shade down you can begin the armor. Base all of the armor with watered-down Scale 75 Decayed Metal. Then you drybrush Scale 75 Thrash Metalover top of it. Follow that up with a lighter, almost highlight coat, of Scale 75 Speed Metal. Go ahead and wash over the model after the paint is dry with the Mr.Hobbying Multiblack and the solvent.
Now you can begin the more specialized weathering process. Do a light coat of AK Interactive Exhaust Washover the model, and if you feel it’s too thick, just use a bit of the AK Interactive Odorless Thinnerto dilute it on the model. Once it is dried use AK Interactive Rust Streaksin a very similar fashion, but being more careful about thinning it down. Lastly, use your choice of matte varnish and it’s done!
