There’s a lot to be seen in the new Codex: Space Marines, and today we’re going to be taking a look at the new Warlord Traits. What will your warlord take?
Thanks to Winter SEO for his review video of the Codex: Space Marines, we now know what the new Warlord Traits are going to be.
The new Warlord Traits are going to be a great set of options for Space Marine Commanders. Do you want to automatically pass Morale tests, or would it be better to add 1 to your AP value for units within 6″ during the shooting phase every time they roll a 6+ on the wound roll? ‘
No matter what there looks to be a Warlord Trait for all different types of play styles.
Alongside the new Warlord Trait options, you’re also going to be getting special Chapter specific abilities for your warlord that complements the strengths of the Chapters themselves. The Raven Guard Warlord is getting the Silent Stalker ability which prevents enemy units from firing overwatch on it, while the Salamanders Warlord Trait adds 1 to the Strength Characteristic.
