If you plan on going with the Squats of the far future, you must get good at painting them! This painting tutorial will help you tackle the steps without much hassle, and you don’t even need an airbrush to do it. Just keep in mind this is for a battle-ready standard, so not the highest quality ever, but if you want to field a painted army fast, this is a great tutorial.

Then Max paints all the armor with this, other than the areas you want to stay white. So take your time on the first couple of minis.
To make the white armor pop, he takes his favorite white and does a layer on all the areas he wants white.
Step 3:

To add some “pop,” he adds some purple to the little buttons, and if this had a visor, he would paint that purple as well. Then to give a little depth to the metallics, he gives them all a quick wash of Nuln Oil.
The last thing to do is optional, but to make the gun a little more interesting, he takes Incubi Darkness and drybrushes the gun with it.
