All these Grey Knights Models just turned 10 years old, plus with a new codex on the way, there is some hope for more new miniatures too!
We know Crowe is getting a new miniature, but could we see another update to these decade-old minis? It’s possible but we won’t get our hopes too high.
GW doesn’t like to update already plastic minis if they don’t need to, well, unless they are marines it seems like sometimes! There are even some factions still with finecast models (ew).
Plus, these curent Grey knights also have a ton of bits on their sprues, are pretty posable, and we think they look pretty cool still. Where they could get new offerings is from the creation of new units because they basically have 3 dedicated units (not including characters).
Plus, don’t worry, we know Eldar and Tyranids need it more, we’re with you there! Enough about that though, let’s help celebrate the ten-year mark!
Grey Knights Models Just Turned 10 Years Old!
The Strike Squad is honestly a pretty cool unit with a ton of bits, posing options, and hey they are plastic! We know some people preferred the metal, but with all the options, it’s hard to deny a good multi-part plastic kit. Especially when you compare them with some of the other lines, we’d rather see GW spend time updating some of the 15-20 plus-year-old minis, sorry Grey Knight players!
The only issue with these guys, they have really been hit with the scale creep.
Maybe they did this on purpose and just want Crowe to be a giant on the tabletop. Either way, that looks like some serious scale creep to us, so who knows? Maybe new minis are on the way!
There is some debate over the heads of these and some people don’t like the look that much. Again though, it seems hard for GW to update a decent plastic sprue for a lesser played army.

Ah, the good old baby carrier, this has received mixed reviews since day one, but hey, it’s ten years old so don’t be too mean!
The old Crowe and Lord Kaldor Draigo also turned ten this year as well.
A Place for New Units?
The Grey Knights basically have three dedicated kits not including characters. So if we see anything new for them, it would make the most sense for GW to actually grow the line and come out with some new minis instead of just revamping.
The Thousand Sons are on the other side of the release, and they only have about 4 dedicated kits, so there’s plenty of room there for new units if GW really wanted to expand the lines!
We’ll just have to wait on that one though.
