We’ve got a new GW rumor engine that looks to be for the Grand Alliance of Death with a skull being held like a bowling ball on a throne.
Warhammer Communityjust unveiled one more rumor engine and this time it looks like some sort of stone throne for a destruction or death faction in AoS, but we’re not ruling out 40k either. Check out the details of this bit that look to be on the way for 40k or AoS!
Throne of Skulls: GW Rumor Engine
This one is honestly pretty vague because there are plenty of units holding human skulls in AoS. It must be a rough world out there, where the majority of your enemies just run around with your head after taking it off! Still, it looks to be a stone throne of some kind with a thin-ish hand. Meaning we can probably rule out some of the bigger factions. It has a very Flesh-eaters courts vibe though.
While this has a lot of obvious differences, it could always be a rework for one of the Armies of Death. Something about it feels like Flesh-eaters, maybe a new Ghoul King on a throne? That’s probably the best bet for now, and with the other factions of Death always getting more love than Flesh Eaters, it would make sense.
Or, if they release the new Kruleboyz like they did Necrons, it could be another new unit for them. Where they release the majority of the minis at once, then slowly release a few new characters throughout the next 6 months or so. The hand looks very similar to the new Kruleboyz style. Maybe their grand leader who gets carried into battle on a palanquin? This one is pretty open-ended, so we’ll just have to wait and see!
