Creative Assembly’s hit game Total War: Warhammer 2, is getting a new Legendary Lord DLC pack this winter called Twister and Twilight!
Arguably Creative Assembly’s biggest success, and maybe the biggest Warhammer based video game, Total War: Warhammer 2 is getting one of its final DLCs before the wait begins for Total War: Warhammer 3.
Total War: Warhammer 2 Twisted & Twilight Announced
This DLC focuses on the Wood Elves and Skaven. Wood Elves have been needing an update in-game for quite literally years now. Unfortunately, power creep exists in the game and Wood Elves haven’t gotten a serious update since they released for the original Total War: Warhammer in December of 2016. Skaven on the other hand have gotten multiple small-scale patches/DLC keeping them up to date but ultimately resulted in them continuing to fall behind other factions.
Once a single being, divided into siblings by The Weave, Naestra and Arahan are two sides of the same coin. They work together in the service of queen Ariel, marshalling the woodland warriors at her command, and cannot be slain unless both fall in battle. The Twilight Sisters must prepare the glade for Ariel’s arrival and protect her as she performs the ritual
An eternal hunger gnaws at Throt, the Master Mutator of Clan Moulder. A lifetime of auto-experimentation has made him powerful, but his vastly enhanced metabolism means he must feed constantly to maintain himself. He is hell-bent on reducing the Wood Elf queen to a magical pulp, which he will consume to satiate himself at long last.
Both Factions will get a ton of new mechanics and units alongside the feature leaders in this pack, so expect some big changes to each faction and perhaps even an impact on the multiplayer meta in the months to follow.
