Due to global circumstances, it looks like the release date for the Warhammer 40k Magic cards will be pushed back …
We saw these previewed quite some time ago, and fairly recently, we saw a lot of the artwork. Now, the date for global release has been pushed back, but at least this gives you more time to save up and order the Warhammer 40k Magic cards you want!
Let’s first check out the price of the new Warhammer 40k magic cards, spotted directly from Wizards, and then get into when you’ll actually be able to get them.
Magic the Gathering Universes Beyond: Warhammer 40k
You can actually pre-order these here from Amazon right now; however, this isn’t some random person putting it up for a bunch of cash. This is direct from Wizards’ store and could mean that this is one of the cheapest prices you will find them online for.
These are on pre-order now but will be released on October 7th, just something to keep in mind.
The commander deck bundle will still run you a pretty penny, but at least it’s not quite as expensive. As we said, it could be due to the GW licensing being so expensive that they felt they had no choice but to ramp up the price. Or, it could just be they think people will pay. However, even the individual boxes are up there in price.
If you just want the individual boxes, they seem to be higher than the base commander decks for Magic.
Updated Release Date For New Warhammer 40k Magic Cards
Here is the updated release date for the new Warhammer 40k magic cards directly from Wizards.
Due to ongoing global supply chain challenges and delays in production, the global release of Warhammer 40,000 Commander decks is now October 7, 2022. This release date change includes both the regular and Collector’s Edition Warhammer 40,000 Commander decks.
The Secret Lair x Warhammer 40,000: Orks, Secret Lair x Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and Secret Lair x Blood Bowl drops will also be impacted. We will follow up in the coming weeks with additional details on updated timing.
Well, at least this gives people some more time to get the cards as they can’t do too much about the shipping circumstances.
