A female Primaris Space Marine model was spotted in a fake image of an issue of White Dwarf, and the internet is losing is mind over it.
Making its way around the internet years ago, pictures of a female Primaris Marine were supposedly spotted inside an issue of a White Dwarf magazine. However, after looking into the details a bit further, you could clearly tell it’s photoshopped.
The original creator of the model, Kittenmeetswarhammer, posted this on their Instagram account back in December 2019.
Female Primaris Marine In White Dwarf? Hoax Confirmed
You might have initially thought that Belisarius Cawl figured out a way to turn females into Primaris! In all reality, this is one hobbyist’s conversion piece photoshopped onto a page of a year-old White Dwarf.
The model, however, is very much a real conversion, as our article debunking this hoax shows.
A picture shows the model’s conversion progress.
When you really look at the model, it’s a fantastically unique conversion! It can definitely be passed off as a legitimate model. Yes, it’s that good because it fooled the entire internet for a few minutes.
While this might not be an official GW miniature, it sure gives a good footprint for female Primaris Space Marines in the future. If GW ever decides to go that way…
Someone ended up taking the image and photoshopping it into a two-year-old White Dwarf page. (The Gathering Storm edition, to be exact).
If you’re a real Adeptus Soriritas fan, just sit tight! We know there’s a bunch of new sculpts in store for us. Plus, their codex is in the works right now. Who knows if Adeptus Sororitas will get the Primaris treatment after all? We’ve seen GW pull some crazier stunts before so it’s definitely not outside the realm of possibility.
What are your thoughts on female Primaris Marines? Would you buy the box if it were an actual kit? Are you going to try your hand at a similar conversion?
