The new Warhammer+ miniatures for 2026 are here, and subscribers are getting both models this time, along with the first Warhammer Yearbook.
Since Warhammer+ started offering subscriber-exclusive models, you had to pick one and miss the other, but now, GW has scrapped that rule with this reveal.
Both 2026 miniatures now come with the subscription, so there won’t be a repeat of the choice subscribers faced when last year’s pair went up. Which honesly is a better offer for Space Marine and Maggotkin players, especially since the Marine can fit into whatever you’re already building from the 2026 release calendar.
We’ve covered these reveals every year GW has run the program, and getting both models is easily the biggest change yet.
GW Finally Stopped Making You Pick One Subscriber Mini
- Both minis, no choosing: your 2026 subscription includes both Wrath of Macragge and The Plague Knight’s Burden, ending the old pick-one rule.
- First-ever Yearbook: a coffee-table annual featuring 2026’s best models is included with the subscription for the first time.
- Deadline is 25 August: last year’s models cycle out when the new subscription year begins, so time is running out to get them.
Wrath of Macragge is a Bladeguard Veteran standing over a dead Ork. GW painted it as an Ultramarine, but there aren’t any sculpted Chapter markings, so you can paint it for whichever Chapter you want, even the Blood Angels.
The Plague Knight’s Burden is a Maggotkin of Nurgle Rotsword dragging away a battered Freeguild soldier. The dents across the soldier’s armor make it pretty clear what that maul has been doing, and both models also include unhelmeted head options.
The pair joins the same commemorative-series lineup as the subscriber models GW has released since 2021.
The Warhammer Yearbook Is the New Wrinkle Worth Watching
The subscription also includes the first Warhammer Yearbook, a coffee-table annual filled with photos and artwork featuring the best miniatures of 2026.
GW would normally sell this kind of book separately, so bundling it with both models is a real upgrade over last year’s subscription.
Warhammer+ Is Betting Hard on Animation to Keep You In
The rest of the offer still leans heavily on Warhammer TV. Over the next twelve months, GW says the service will get four new animated series and more than 100 episodes covering hobby content, gaming, and lore.
But the biggest release is Astartes II, which is still scheduled for December, along with a new animated series set in the Mortal Realms.
The Warhammer+ Vault now includes more than 20 years of White Dwarf issues going back to 2003. Subscribers also get unlimited army lists through Battle Forge and Storm Forge, monthly merchandise discounts, and access to subscriber-only competitions.
Last Year’s Minis Cycle Out on 25 August
The new subscription year begins on 25 August, when last year’s models, The Summons and Infinity’s Lament, start cycling out.
Anyone who still wants one of those models needs to subscribe before 25 August to qualify. An annual subscription also gives you twelve months for the price of nine, plus earlier delivery of the new miniatures and Yearbook.
We’ve said before that it might be time to cancel Warhammer+, but getting to make army lists, both models and the Yearbook honestly makes the subscription easier to justify.
Final Thoughts on the New Warhammer+ Miniatures
The next question is what this does to secondary-market prices for these minis? GW called this its biggest subscriber year yet, and offering two models plus the Yearbook looks like a push to bring more people in before the new animation slate arrives.
If Astartes II releases in December as planned, the second half of the subscription year could be much stronger than the first.
