Angron’s World Eaters are back in Faith & Fury, but here’s a look at them earlier on in one of the top Warhammer Dioramas out there!
This showcase might be full of Horus Heresy models, however, it’s still worth the hype for the World Eaters in 40k! They are known for their sheer wanton brutality and destruction, it’s what they do best!
This tome will see the Psychic Awakening’s effects begin to take hold in the Imperium, as the Emperor’s most faithful warriors go head to head with the Heretic Astartes. What’s more, the book will include codex supplement-tier content for the Black Templars, Night Lords, Alpha Legion, World Eaters, Emperor’s Children, Iron Warriors and Word Bearers.
To hype up the return of the Angron’s Legion, here’s a look back at an incredible World Eaters display from Forge World back in the day as well!
Army Showcase Flashback: World Eaters Forge World Diorama
Keep in mind that this showcase is from a Horus Heresy timeframe. These World Eaters have just turned against Papa E and still wearing the blue and white power armor. Now, let’s address the red and black elephant in the room. This Reaver marched with hundreds of World Eaters Marines towards a Loyalist front in a recreation of the Istvaan III purge.
Can you guess how much money is sitting on this table? Seriously, it’s incredible to see so much power armor concentrated into one area.
Legion Fellblades and other heavy firepower rolled in around the dudes on foot to cover their melee assault. Khorne would be so proud.
The World Eaters hit a choke point as they had to climb up multiple levels of Imperial walls while fire rained down from a number of Loyalist Legions above.
While these guys might have the high ground, their numbers don’t even compare to the amount of World Eaters waiting to rip them apart.
And of course, the piece de resistance of this entire showcase is a random World Eater taking pictures of the war on his phone. It’s like he knew it would go down in history and had to preserve the moment.
