GW Drukhari NERF & 20 Other New 40k FAQs

gw-faq-dark-eldar-drukhariGW just dropped the Drukhari NERF along with 20 other new FAQ and errata for Warhammer 40k today!

Warhammer Community just unveiled a giant number of FAQs, with basically everyone receiving something. Don’t panic DE players, the nerfs aren’t too bad (well… kind of)

Actually, for pretty much every faction, nothing too crazy has changed, but it’s always good to know what’s happening with your armies, so be sure to check these out. If you want to download everything, you can here.

Maybe the biggest changes for everyone are in the core rulebook. Nothing game-changing is in there, but just a lot of good clarification for some rare rules. Let’s get into it!

Drukhari NERF

Drukhari nerfsWell, considering they made Raiding forces as a great thematic way to field Drukhari, this is kind of dumb to do. Now if you take everything as a patrol, you don’t lose CP, but you don’t get any command benefits. So that is what it is. The Dark Technomancers change was something we saw coming because it just kind of makes sense.

Drukhari nerfs 2Luckily the rumors for 145 point Raiders were just someone having fun with photoshop. 10 points on Raiders and Drazhar really aren’t too bad, so nothing too wild in terms of points.

Big Chaos Changes

Chaos ChangesHeretic Astartes is being removed from the wording and a big change to Warptime for soup is upon us. What does that mean? You can’t use a Thousand Sons character to cast Warptime on CSM or even normal chaos can’t cast on Morty. Looks like they don’t want soup armies running around anymore, or at least be less effective.

Core Rulebook Errata

Core changesLike we said, nothing too crazy here, but they just mainly clarify some rare rules. So definitely worth checking out. If you’ve had an argument over some less used rules, hopefully, you can point to this and clear them up!

Tons of Other FAQs

FAQsThey even put FAQs in there for PA, so basically, anything with playable units received something. Most are fairly small, but you can download all of them here, and see for yourself.

What was the biggest change you found? Did they clarify anything you were wondering about?
