Another Trailer for Total War: Warhammer 3 just came out that reveals Ogre Kingdoms as the bonus faction and the game’s full release date!
The Total War: Warhammer title has become one of the biggest names in video games thanks to the wild success of the first two. Now with the Total War Warhammer 3 well on the way, there’s been a new trailer featuring an announcement/first look at the Ogre Kingdoms who will join in as a pre-order/early adopter bonus faction!
Total War Warhammer 3: Ogre Kingdoms & Release Date REVEALED!
While there weren’t any specifics on units inside the trailer, it was a showcase of the faction’s design, which we will break down below.
The trailer features a feast highlighting the savage and gluttonous nature of the Ogres! If you haven’t watched it, we highly recommend you do, as it’s an awesome experience to see it unfold in action.
Throughout the trailer, you can see the gluttons spilling their drinks all over themselves and eating all sorts of things skin, bone, and all whole!
One such example was this Ogre cooking a full bat on a pit! I don’t know how good a wing’s webbing tastes, but at least they are likely immune to any diseases.
In the trailer, we also got a look at what can only be seen as the first Legendary lord! You can’t be the Ogre Kingdoms, without a King!
Plus if you wait till the end.. or saw their announcement via Twitter, the game’s release date was revealed!

After the delay announcement, we knew it would be into 2022, but seeing how great some of the trailers look, and now with the bonus faction revealed, the game seems to really be coming together! February 17, 2022 is a reasonable release, just don’t let the hype and wait to wear you down!
Below we’ve included the previous trailer showcasing a battle and some brand new units in action!
Cathay vs Tzeentch Total War: Warhammer 3 Trailer
The trailer features a full battle showing off a Cathay defense against Tzeentch! If you haven’t watched it, we highly recommend you do, as it’s an awesome experience to see it unfold in action.
In the trailer, we are introduced to a massive Tzeentch daemon force with swarms of Chaos Spawn, Horrors, and even some forsaken!
But still, Cathay is prepared, with the Storm Dragon leading the defense with her own magic and plenty of range to chip away at the onslaught of Daemons and give them better chances once it comes to the inevitable melee combat.
Another sweet unit we get to see unleash havoc is a Soul Grinder! These aren’t too popular on the tabletop, but in-game they look like absolute units, taking on full squads of troops tossing them aside like ragdolls.
Of course, we also get a peek at the Storm Dragon fully transforming and decimating swarms of Horrors, turning the tide of the battle!
But can Kairos Fateweaver pull through and finish the assault? Watch the trailer to find out!
Either way, the game is looking amazing and thanks to its delay, looks like will launch with a fantastic roster available!
