Slaves to Darkness Army Set Pre-Orders

Slaves to Darkness Army Set

The Slaves to Darkness rise again, ready to stain the Mortal Realms red with the blood of any who would oppose them. Their army set includes 14 new miniatures – a Daemon Prince, 10 Chaos Chosen, and three Ogroid Theridons.

Slaves to Darkness Army Set 2

This boxed set also includes a special launch edition version of the new Slaves to Darkness battletome, which features the background of the followers of the Dark Gods from the end of the World-that-Was through to the Era of the Beast. There are rules for fielding your miniatures in battle and new Path to Glory rules.

There are also Warscroll Cards, which will only be available in this set for the foreseeable future, plus 28 Enhancement Cards, and 34 tokens to keep track of rules and special abilities.

It’s nice to see them get a bunch of new units and models in a big army box. As usual, this will give you early access to the battletome, but we’ll expect to see more Slaves to Darkness pre-orders headed into December for the minis inside.

Battletome: Ogor Mawtribes

Ogor battletome

Eat your way through the Mortal Realms with the monstrous Ogor Mawtribes. Their new battletome is packed with detailed lore and background on their history and the rules you need to field them in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. It also includes new Path to Glory rules that see your army grow and develop as they head out on the Mawpath.

Battletome: Ogor Mawtribes is available in a hardback or limited edition format with a soft touch cover, gold gilt page edges, and a red ribbon bookmark. Make sure you’re first in the queue for the buffet if you want the limited edition, as there are only 500 copies available worldwide.

We thought this was coming a couple of weeks ago, but it’s better to get it now than never!

Vanguard: Ogor Mawtribes

Ogor Vanguard

Start a new Ogor Mawtribes army or add to an existing one with this packed boxed set. It’s overflowing with a mighty leader in the form of a Tyrant, plus six Ogor Gluttons, the core infantry of the ogors, and two fast-moving Mournfangs. There is also some lethal firepower in the form of four Leadblechers and an Ironblaster, which can alternatively be built as a Gnoblar Scraplauncher.

While there are no new minis inside, this should have some decent value!

Bloodpelt Hunter

Bloodpelt Hunter

Ensure you have plenty of meat for the pot by hunting the largest creatures and strongest prey in the Mortal Realms with the Bloodpelt Hunter. Surprisingly nimble and stealthy for an ogor, they can sneak into position and take out their quarry with their skullshatter crossbow, impaling spear, or hacker-axe and meatblade. Looks like dragon is back on the menu.

This is the only new mini with this new book, but it’s still pretty sweet.

Maneaters

Maneaters

Don’t worry, it’s just a name – actually, Maneaters will eat anybody! These mighty ogors are mercenaries who have travelled the Mortal Realms and mastered a variety of fighting styles. Add these three classic miniatures to your army and make them Battleline with the Ex-mercenary Command Trait.

Maneaters have just always been fun models, so might as well grab some more! Keep in mind these are direct order, and may be Made To Order.

Ogor Mawtribes Warscroll Cards

Slaves to Darkness Pre-Orders

These 28 cards help you keep track of the rules of your Ogor Mawtribes units in the heat of battle. There are also 34 tokens for your battle tactics, special rules, and abilities.

These just really help speed up games and look up rules, so good to have some around.

Ogor Mawtribes Dice

Slaves to Darkness Pre-Orders 2

Honour the Gulping God with this set of Ogor Mawtribes dice. The 20 six-sided dice are themed around the hungriest faction and feature the symbol of the Maw on the ‘6’.

Who doesn’t want dice to match their army?

Vanguard: Sylvaneth

vanguard

Grow a new army or spring forth reinforcements for an existing one with the new Sylvaneth Vanguard. This box includes a Branchwych, a skilled magic user backed up with three deadly Kurnoth Hunters. Anything that survives that magic-combat one-two will be finished off by five Tree-Revenants, which can alternately be assembled as Spite-Revenants. Rounding out the force is a Treelord, who can also be assembled as a Treelord Ancient or a Spirit of Durthu.

The battletome has been out for a while now, and the vanguard box should have some decent value to expand your forces.

Sons of Behemat Warscroll Cards

Ogor Cards

The Sons of Behemat are on the rampage, and you can now keep track of your rules and abilities with these warscroll cards. The pack contains 12 reference cards for the warscrolls in Battletome: Sons of Behemat, as well as tokens so you can keep track of your Command Points, battle tactics, and more.

The book has been out for a few weeks, so might as well grab the cards to go with it.

Liber Imperium – Forces of the Emperor Army Book

Liber Imperium

While the Legiones Astartes are undoubtedly at the forefront of the Horus Heresy, the colossal Imperial Army still fights and dies in the millions to stem Horus’ advance. Liber Imperium contains rules for fielding armies of elite Solar Auxilia, as well as the Sisters of Silence, Legio Custodes, and the seven deadly Clades of the Officio Assassinorum.

This book is available in both physical hardback and digital editions.

The Astartes can’t do it all on their own, so get some allies!

Goliath Vehicle Gang Tactics

Necromunda Cinderak

Get the most out of your Maulers and the rest of your Goliath vehicles. This set of 26 cards includes eight blank cards, which you can fill in with details of your gang vehicles. The 18 Goliath Vehicle Gang Tactics cards include Last Gasp, which allows you to make a final shooting attack from a wrecked vehicle, and Bowlin’ Action, which allows you to treat Ram as a simple action.

With so many vehicles in the game now, the cards are always nice to have.

Promethium Tanks Refuelling Station

Necromunda Cinderak 2

It ain’t easy to fuel up your buggies and bikes when you’re out in the ash wastes. The Promethium Tanks Refuelling Station makes a great objective for any scenario. The tanks themselves can be assembled in numerous configurations to give containers of different heights, and in game, you can use them to refuel your scarce weapons.

These will make for a perfect objective to fight over because everyone needs fuel in the wasteland.

Promethium Tanks on Cargo-8 Ridgehauler Trailer

Necromunda Cinderak 3

If you prefer your promethium tanks to be more portable, you’ll also be able to get them on a trailer, which is fully compatible with the Cargo-8 Ridgehauler. It’s a great alternative to the existing Cargo-8 Ridgehauler Trailer and can be used in numerous ash waste scenarios. Will you defend the convoy or attack it with your Dustback Helamites?

If you don’t want to just fight over them, you can put them onto your Ridgehauler!

Goliath Ash Wastes Upgrades

Necromunda Cinderak 4

Get your Goliath gang ready for the desert life with these upgrades, featuring alternate heads and optional equipment. The heads fit the Goliath Gang and Mauler kits, who can both use the flasks and ammo packs, as can the Simmers and Forge Born. Finally, the backpacks are also designed to be used with the plastic Goliath Gang kit.

These upgrade kits are always fun to change up the look of your gang.
