Looks ‘Shopped: GW Rumor Engine Emerges
Another rumor engine is here, and this time, it looks like some obvious editing has been done. Check out what could be missing from this teased bit.

Mmm … Brains! Flesh Eater Courts GW Rumor Engine
Another rumor engine is here, and it might be some delicious Flesh Eater Courts as the new Games Workshop models previews circles back to an Age of Sigmar faction again.

Throne of Skulls: GW Rumor Engine
This one is honestly pretty vague because there are plenty of units holding human skulls in AoS. It must be a rough world out there, where the majority of your enemies just run around with your head after taking it off! Still, it looks to be a stone throne of some kind with a thin-ish hand. Meaning we can probably rule out some of the bigger factions. It has a very Flesh-eaters courts vibe, though.

New Imperial Big Guns Never Tire: GW Rumor Engine
This new weapon packed with rockets is actually another easy-to-place engine. There’s only a small handful or likely factions… The first and most likely is Imperial Guard / GSC as we had been hearing rumors of a new Imperial Guard tank coming soon that was scaled in between a Leman Russ and a Baneblade.
These are both popular factions so getting new toys is pretty standard for them (even though it doesn’t seem like they do). Second, there are Space Marines, because if this is a vehicle, it could just be wider imperium easy-peasy.

New Necrons Initializing: GW 40k Rumor Engine
Thanks to the very unique cube effect, this bit is very easy to place. It is almost certainly a Necron bit, either for 40k or maybe Kill Team. There’s also a slight chance it could be some repurposed gear that an inquisition agent got a hold of, but that’s always the case with Xenos gear bits!

Lookout Duty: GW Rumor Engine
Right out of the gate, the Armor style looks much more in line with AoS themes, meaning it’s probably for Age of Sigmar or a specialist game in the setting. Additionally, the Armor looks a little similar to Sigvald, meaning there may be a new armored model incoming!

Now This Is Warhammer! New GW Rumor Engine
Right out of the gate, we might want to think this is AoS due to its primitive nature; however, there’s a checkerboard pattern on the right that’s nearly exclusive to 40k Orks!
This looks like a new Warhammer or some kind of counterweight…

Lizards & Evil Robots: Another New GW Rumor Engine
This spear looks sweet, and there’s no questioning that it’s definitely for poking enemies. However, in an interesting twist, the two factions that come to mind couldn’t be further apart! The blade looks strangely Necron, while everything else looks mostly Seraphon…
So whose is it anyway?

Book of Grudges-Thrower: Another New GW Rumor Engine
Right out of the gates, GW introduced the new Engine by saying this:
Like all Votann, the Rumour Engine is stuffed full of secrets lost within its wizened digital architecture, with no way of knowing when they might surface… or why. Here’s yet another blessing from the Ancestor Core.
Which makes a guess for the bit much easier; it might just be another new Votann model!
Just like that shiny new Exo-Armor for the Squats that was recently revealed.

Slaanesh Slashes Into Frame With a New GW Rumor Engine
For first impressions, this new curved sword creams AoS and looks like two potential factions in particular. One is Mortal Slaanesh units with its leather gloves and curved sword, and the other is maybe a revamped Black Ark Corsair for the rumored Dark Aelves’ re-appearance with Malekith/Maleron.

Welcome To The Jungle: New Catachan GW Rumor Engine
This rumor engine doesn’t really scream any faction or another, but there are two factions that might be more likely to have these sorts of plants on them. These are notably Seraphon and Catachan.
With Imperial guard just getting a few new models revealed, that doesn’t seem too far off, either! However, it could always be terrain or something as well.

Poison Ork Gas: New GW Rumor Engine
While this engine doesn’t scream anyone one faction or another, something about it looks like Orks. Of course, it could be a plethora of factions and races in both AoS and 40k…

Malerion Rises With The Dark Elves: New GW Rumor Engine
This new big arm could belong to a variety of factions. We want to be optimistic about a sweet new Malerion model which has been rumored on and off since the introduction of AoS, but really this could be nearly anything. The only thing that’s clear is it’s a bigger model and probably isn’t so nice.

Chaos Chains That Bind: New GW Rumor Engine
This set of binds in the newest rumor engine looks interesting! Right away we know it won’t be any “nicer” factions given the spikey bits (haha get it). So we think it has a strong possibility of being part of a new Necromunda gang or possibly even something for chaos in another specialist game.

Strike a Pose: New GW Rumor Engine
This new bit looks strange at first, but if you think about perspective and aspect ratio, the mace may be further behind the hand, so it’s actually bigger than it looks! Perhaps a pose akin to the Obi-Wan battle pose?

A Not So Chaos Polearm: New GW Rumor Engine
Last week there were hints about something new and chaos-themed for the rumor engine, but this is noticeably not so.
The time has almost come, the Rumour Engine is swirling with more energy than ever before, and we’re only a few moments away from whatever grand design it has in store. Before the Dark Powers usher us into a new and brighter future, we have just one more vision of a forthcoming release to prepare us for the greatness that awaits.
Isn’t it wonderful? The warp has this and more to share – so the Engine tells us – if only we embrace it. We don’t see any downside to this, so let us know what you think this week’s Rumour Engine image is on the Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Facebook pages while we get everything ready for next week’s grand ascension.
So, while they often write these like this, this is the first time they really mention any finality. They said this week will be the grand ascension and that only one more vision is left. To us, this feels like their way of telling us next week will be a big reveal and a change in how they reveal rumors.

Skeletons Adorn Flames & Fur: Rumor Engine
When you first look at this, it almost looks like a skely on the back of some kind of beast, but if you flip the picture, it starts to look a lot like flames.

Seraphon Power Up in New GW Rumor Engine
Immediately after looking at this new rumor engine, there seem only to be two possibilities… Necrons and Seraphon, but given the nature of the markings on the ring, we are definitely leaning way more towards this being something for our favorite Lizardmen.

Seraphon Get New Bling in GW Rumor Engine
Honestly, this could be for a ton of stuff if we’re being honest, as tons of models have little dangly jewelry. Especially GW even said this is an extreme close-up. However, with last week’s rumor being pretty clear for Seraphon (or Necrons), maybe they are doubling up and grabbing two in a row.

Sea Vegetation in New GW Rumor Engine
After looking at this new rumor engine, there are many possibilities… There is simply nothing very exclusive about plants. It could easily be 40k of Aos and even Terrain or a Character. Our only guess is that the Vegetation does look slightly oceanic, making us lean toward a potential Idoneth Deepkin release.

The Riddler Invades Warhammer: New GW Rumor Engine
Without immediately recognizing this engine as an iconic “?” not so different from the riddler, we think this does look like a good tool for some Destruction factions.
The most likely candidates are, of course, Ogor Mawtribes or maybe even Gloomspite Gitz. Mainly because of the tools and craftsmanship they have on their models already.

Cherry Blossoms & Poxes: New GW Rumor Engine
This Rumor engine scratches our brainstorming and theory-crafting itch! While it doesn’t like a potential tree with poxes for something Nurgle, Warhammer Total War 2 recently got a resurgence thanks to Immortal Empires breathing life back into the game…
That’s Important because the high-Asia-inspired Cathay is a major faction there!
September 13th, 2022
Sneaky Spider Slashers: New GW Rumor Engine
This is clearly a spider’s head! That means a clear likely release for either one of two AoS factions. Gloomspite Gits and their spider riders or Chaos and their Spider Cult that was spotlighted in Warcry as a Warband. That being said, we really hope it’s Gitz, as they need the help and probably even a rework soon!
September 20th, 2022
Feathers or Fins: New GW Rumor Engine
This engine is a little tricky! Fins or feathers was our first guess, but even that’s hard! Statues, Robots, Idoneth, Seraphon, and even Hedonites of Slaanesh are all huge possibilities with this one… That being said, one of those ideas is significantly more outdated as a whole than the rest, which is why we hope this is going toward a new Seraphon model.
September 27th, 2022
A Mace For Sigmar: New GW Rumor Engine
At face value, nothing really sticks out on this one. What we can tell for sure is that it is a mace and is for AoS/specialist games in that universe. Our best guess for the faction is either Cities of Sigmar or Vampires
October 4th, 2022
A Destruction Elder: New GW Rumor Engine
Looking at this, a few things are almost certain. This is most likely in AoS and is for Destruction or maybe Soulblight Gravelords. Gravelords have more “old-age” looking models, so the cane is probably more on the theme for them.
The only real 40k possibility is probably Kroot, but it’s very unlikely.
October 11th, 2022
A Child’s Toy: New GW Rumor Engine
Looking at this one, well, it could be a lot of things, so we are kinda stumped! It could be something like Adeptus Mechanicus, Dark Mechanicus, or even Necrons, but it’s just not clear. Nothing currently released really looks like it. (It does, however, look similar to the shape game kids play!)
October 18th, 2022
Birds of a Feather, Fish of a Fin: New GW Rumor Engine
This one is interesting as it matches the same design of a rumor engine a few weeks back! So naturally, we’ll take the same guess here. This is most likely Seraphon or Idoneth Deepkin due to the similar Feather/Fin design.

Wolverine Is Jealous of these New Claws: GW Rumor Engine
This one is pretty easy to place in Chaos or Tyranids, but that being said, the metal claws make it much more likely for chaos! (It’s possible to be in AoS, but more likely for 40k)
November 1st, 2022
Smokestacks Don’t Belong Upside-Down: GW Rumor Engine
This is a hard engine to place because it can practically be any faction in 40k (besides a few outliers). That being said, one faction is more known for big diesel-like trucks, and that’s Orks!
Rumor Engine Roundup: Last Batch of Bits Debunked
Each of these rumor engines would have been fully debunked (showing the full model). Although, this time, a teaser is responsible for two bits, meaning we haven’t seen all the model details quite yet.

New Chaos Hammer Time: GW Rumor Engine
At first glance, this seems to resemble a Sigmar/Stormcast hammer. However, the comet doesn’t look quite right and there’s definitely some chaos trim in there… Maybe this is a form of mockery?
That is definitely the bit! However, this is all in a teaser so we still aren’t 100% sure what it is… Our assumption is something Daemonic/Dark Ad Mech.

New GW Rumor Engine: It’s 40k Chaos Finally
This claw is actually super easy to predict. Unless GW is pulling a fast one, these clearly belong to a new 40k Chaos model. From that Iconic trim to fingers that look very similar to Venomcrawler legs, with a Helbrute style armor plate, it doesn’t seem likely to be anything else but a new Chaos Space Marine model.
Just like the one above, this model still has a lot of mystery! But that claw is unmistakable from the Warhammer Day 2022 preview.

More New Death Korps of Krieg: GW Rumor Engine
Ah, it’s that kind of tip. Is that a spear with a grenade tied to it?
From the look of this, we have an explosive spear tip that appears to have some sort of power coupling attached to a shaft. While it could be anything still at this point, the only thing that comes to mind is the hunting lance for the Death Korps of Krieg Death Rider Squad.
However, as you can see for both the art and the existing Forge World models, they dont look quite like this…
And look at that, we were dead on! Now we just have to wait and see if there are more new DKoK models coming!

Construct Additional Pylons: New GW Rumor Engine
This new bit looks a little strange and probably reminds most of us of Necrons. However the markings are not usual for Necrons, so we think this might be for Seraphons or maybe even Slaves to Darkness in AoS!
As a new part of Warcry, we were completely off, but this new model does look sweet!
