New Forge World Horus Heresy & Blood Bowl Hit Pre-Order!

new forge world releases games workshop wal hor warhammer communityNew Horus Heresy upgrades and Blood Bowl minis are on pre-order at Forge World, this time for Word Bearers and Salamanders!

If you play Word Bearers, Salamanders, or Blood Bowl, this might be the release for you. This week, there will be two new minis, and it looks like the upgrade kits for Horus Heresy just keep coming.

Warhammer Community unveiled the pre-order, and the Blood Bowl minis will be shipped out on 1/13/2023, but all the upgrades are MTO, which means you should get them within 180 days.

Nobbla Blackwart & Scrappa Sorehead: $40

Blood Bowl Pre-Orders

Nobbla Blackwart and Scrappa Sorehead are excellent examples of what a little ingenuity and a complete lack of self preservation can do for a game of Blood Bowl. Nobbla is undoubtedly a sadistic lunatic, using his chainsaw to foul downed opponents in the most blatant manner possible. Scrappa is considered quite clever for a Goblin, using his “fancy” pogo stick to leap high into the air and snatch a tossed ball right out of the air.

Salamanders MKVI Shoulder Pads: $23

MKVI Forge World Upgrades 2

You can also look forward to a set of 10 shoulder pads to help complete the Salamanders’ look. These feature the Legion’s draconic emblem and a subtle ridged trim. You have to expect an artisanal touch from the XVIII Legion.

Salamanders MKIII Torsos: $23

Salamanders MKIII

The Salamanders are a Legion of fiery guardians, warriors from the burning world of Nocturne who protect humanity to their very last breath. The XVIII Legion uses the firedrakes that roam Nocturne as their symbol, decorating their armour with flame and scale motifs. These courageous warrior-smiths treat their wargear with utmost respect, salvaging and reforging components from older armour into custom suits that are stronger than ever.

Salamanders MKII Shoulder Pads: $23

Blood Bowl Pre-Orders 2

This upgrade kit can be used to customise Legionaries with shoulder pads bearing the draconic heraldry of the Salamanders Legion. The kit includes 10 shoulder pads, each bearing a raised, sculpted icon that makes them simple to paint in the Legion’s signature colours, with a studded rim design appropriate to MKII ‘Crusade Armour’. Spread these components around your army and combine them with transfers to capture that signature XVIII Legion aesthetic, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look.

Word Bearers MKII Shoulder Pads: $23

Blood Bowl Pre-Orders 3

The Word Bearers are a Legion of zealous missionaries, once charged with branding the Imperial Truth across the soul of humanity, and now devoted to more otherworldly powers. The sons of Lorgar adorn their armour with burning scripture and daemonic symbols – as one of the largest Legions, they make use of armour both old and new, reconsecrating it for their hellish dogma.

Word Bearers MKIII Shoulder Pads: $23

MK III upgrades

This upgrade kit comprises 10 resin components and is designed to be assembled with the MKIII Tactical Squad set, MKIV Tactical Squad set, and miniatures clad in MKV armour, which are all sold separately. These components are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.

Word Bearers MKIV Torsos: $23

Word Bearers Upgrades

This upgrade kit comprises five resin components, and is designed to be assembled with the MKIII Tactical Squad set, the MKIV Tactical Squad set, and Forge World miniatures clad in MKV armour, which are all sold separately. These components are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
