6 New McFarlane Warhammer 40k Action Figures For 2024!

Mcfarlane Toys has released six fantastic new Wolf Guard, Terminator, and Khorne Berzerker Warhammer 40k Action Figures for 2024 that we will take a look at first.

The Terminators are also Mega Figs this time around. So they are bigger than usual and stand almost eight and a half inches tall. While the other figures still come in at 7″ tall! The artist’s proofs are always fun to collect because you can paint the figures to match your army’s paint job!

World Eaters Khorne Berzerker 7-Inch:

The Warhammer 40,000 Wave 7 World Eaters Khorne Berzerker 7-Inch Scale Action Figure is incredibly detailed and based off the Warhammer 40,000 franchise. If you want an awesome figure to paint up, then the artist proof is the way to go!

A crude and exceptionally resilient breed of abhuman, Ogryn hail from a number of high gravity worlds. They compensate for their lack of intelligence with overwhelming physicality – the brutish creatures can shrug off wounds that would kill an Imperial Guardsman several times over. Darktide Wave 6 Traitor Guard & Artist Proof:

You can pick this up either way, but both look great and are very affordable.

Space Marines Painted Hellblaster:

If you don’t feel like painting yours, this is a perfect choice. The paint jobs aren’t always the highest quality, but they are definitely good-looking.

If you just want a fun figure without much work, these are great. Here are the features of this one:

Blood Angels Primaris Lieutenant:

The Primaris Lieutenant’s armour is bedecked in the more ostentatious manner favoured by Blood Angels officers, such as his peer, Tolmeron.

This was only available at Walmart in North America, but there are some listed from Amazon now for a premium, of course.

Necron Flayed One Action Figure:

If you just bought a new Necrons army, why not get the big boy to go with them? Obviously, you’ll roll much better.

Adepta Sororitas Battle Sister:

It’s cool that they are not only painting the Marines differently, but you can get different orders for your Sisters of Battle.

Winter Wave of Warhammer 40k Figures

Here’s the original winter action figure line-up from 2021.

Ultramarines Reiver With Bolt Carbine:

If the stealth and terror tactics of the Primaris Vanguard are your thing, then this Ultramarines Reiver is the perfect action figure to add to your collection. His backpack is outfitted with a grav-chute, so even if you accidentally knock him from your shelf, he’s all but guaranteed to land safely (though be careful – in the grim darkness of the far future, anything can happen).

We’ve seen a bunch of Space Marines before, but hey, now, if you need to be a little stealthier, this is the way to go.

Space Marines Reiver With Grapnel Launcher – Artist’s Proof

If you’d rather paint your own Reiver action figure, the Artist’s Proof is the ideal choice. What’s more, in place of the Ultramarines Reiver’s bolt carbine and a grav-chute, this version is equipped with alternative wargear in the form of a grapnel launcher, offering added variety should you get them both.

It’s interesting they gave this one a different weapon choice for the AP. These are really fun to paint up, and you can make it into whatever chapter you want.

Ork Meganob With Shoota

Da Orks iz ’ere! The first of four greenskin action figures from McFarlane Toys sees an Ork Meganob armed with a kustom shoota and power klaw and clad in mega armour enter the fray. You also can kit out his armour rig with an optional backpack with attached banner pole, and give him the metal jaw that no self-respecting Nob would be seen without.

This was the first Ork we’ve seen from them, and it’s pretty cool, but the paint job does leave a little to be desired. You can always fix it up if you want, but having some giant Orks hanging around would be so much fun!

Ork Meganob With Buzzsaw

Of course, if you want your Meganob action figure to look even more killy (if such a thing is even possible), you’ll want it to be dual-wielding killsaws for some good ol’ fashioned slicing and dicing.

The accessory of the metal jaw is just a really cool little addition.

Ork Big Mek

The third Ork action figure enables you to match the three-model Meganobz set with a Big Mek clad in mega armour. He’s tooled up with all the gubbinz you could want, including a kombi-weapon with skorcha, a power klaw, and even a backpack-mounted kustom force field generator.

With a force field and a kombi-weapon, this is just a really cool figure!

Ork Big Mek – Artist’s Proof

The Artists’ Proof edition of the mega-armoured Ork Big Mek is the perfect opportunity for you to try your hand at painting a large-scale greenskin. Armed and equipped with the same wargear as the painted version, you can add your own creative flair to this awesome action figure to make it truly your own.

If you’re not too excited about the paint jobs on the above Orks, then this is the way to go.

Tyranid Genestealer

If you serve the will of the Hive Mind, there’s no better way to prove it than with this fearsome Genestealer action figure. It comes pre-painted in the colours of Hive Fleet Leviathan, and this beastie looks ready to tear anything in its way to pieces.

If you love Nids, they have a few McFarlane figs! Rejoice for all action figure lovers.

Ymgarl Genestealer – Artist’s Proof

If you’re feeling especially outlandish, the Artist’s Proof version represents one of the infamous Ymgarl Genestealers, complete with the tell-tale combination of scything talons and feeder tendrils. As a blank canvas, you can paint your action figure in the colours of your Hive Fleet of choice.

If you want to paint up your custom scheme, you can!

Warhammer 40000 Orks Big Mek Megafig AP Variant:

Presented in grey plastic, you’re free to colour this ded ’ard lad with any colours you want, from a brutal black and checkerboard Goff, to a lucky yellow Bad Moon.

While most of the paint jobs on these aren’t too bad, the Orks left a little to be desired in our opinion. So, the APs are a really great alternative. Here are the specs on this one:

Warhammer 40000 Raven Guard Veteran Sergeant:

Just like the tabletop version of these up-close-and-personal warriors, he also sports a pauldron-mounted tilting plate and an Indomitus Crusade emblem on his left gauntlet.

It’s nice to see them branching out into different chapters. Looks like McFarlane understands there are more chapters than just the Ultramarines! Let’s look at some specs on this one:

Dark Angels Assault Intercessor Sergeant:

It’s awesome to see some chaos figures come to the line.

Chaos Space Marine Artist Proof:

This Artist Proof action figure features a classic matte gray finish to allow fans to paint and customize their Chaos Space Marine like classic Warhammer 40,000 mini-figures! This fully articulated action figure has up to 22 moving parts and is showcased in Warhammer 40,000 themed window box packaging.

Just like the Dark Angels one (strange, they have so much in common…), this is actually a different figure from the one you can get in the painted version.

REVIEW: McFarlane Toys Space Marines & Necron 40k Warhammer Action Figures

It’s pretty neat to see these will have 22 moving parts and multiple poses. Plus, at this price, you may even be able to buy one to keep sealed and one to play with as well!

Paintable Primaris Intercessor Action Figure:

From what we can see, the product is loaded with detail and crisp edges. Throwing a couple of layers of paint on this guy will do the model well, but you don’t have to worry about losing out on any detail.
