The Marvel Crisis Protocol previews from AdeptiCon 2024 showed off a wild amount of new miniatures and what to expect next from Atomic Mass Games.
Eleven new releases for Marvel Crisis Protocol were announced in addition to what we had already seen from the GAMA preview just before Adepticon.
AMG Marvel Crisis Protocol AdeptiCon 2024 Previews & Roadmap Release Schedule Timeline
It seems that MCP is going to receive the most new releases previewed by Atomic Mass Games so far. The new release roadmap timeline extends to early 2025, and a large number of miniatures are scheduled to be released in the coming months.
These upcoming Marvel Crisis Protocol releases will feature several major villains, such as Apocalypse and Mephisto, who have unique mechanics and abilities. Apocalypse has the power to turn other characters into his Horsemen, providing them with additional abilities, while Mephisto can use a “Faustian Bargain” mechanic.
Apocalypse will be available in 3Q 2024, while Mephisto will arrive in Q4 2024. Alongside Apocalypse, the Angel/Archangel Character Pack will be released, featuring both versions of the original X-Men character.
In August, new versions of various Thor characters will be launched, including new sculpts of Thor and Loki (Thor will be a six-threat character), as well as the new Mighty Thor (Jane Foster) and Lady Sif Character Pack.
Later in the year, Atomic Mass Games will introduce new X-Men-related characters, such as Weapon X Wolverine and Maverick in a Character Pack and Sunspot and Warlock in another. Additionally, the Sunspot/Warlock Character Pack will introduce a New Mutants affiliation.

New MCP Miniatures & Expansion Packs
They didn’t forget about the new Asgard releases that were previewed at Ministravaganza, as Mighty Thor (Jane Foster), Lady Sif, Thor Odinson, and Loki are all getting miniatures. Not only that, but they are also grabbing two new terrain packs.
When you need to call down the powers of the Norse Gods, this pack has you covered!
The new terrain looks amazing, and it should be super fun to throw down your minis on the table with this terrain.
These are a little more niche but still quite awesome.
They are digging pretty deep with some of the new expansions, like this run of the new mutants, and we’re all for it.
What would MCP be without Angel and Archangel? They both look great (especially in this picture quality) and will make great additions to many teams. And what is a former horseman of Apocalypse without the main man himself?
Apocalypse Arrives For Marvel Crisis Protocol
From the same sculptor as Thanos, the Age of Apocalypse is about to begin in Marvel Crisis protocol.
A new terrain pack will set the scene for this new release arc featuring Apocalypse and Archangel.
Dracula looks a bit more ‘fleshed out’ than the artwork below, which was revealed in 2023 at Adepticon.
The Tomb of Dracula castle was said to be the largest terrain piece for Marvel Crisis Protocol yet!
Still Far Off:
While they are still pretty far away, both of these characters are really cool. Now, let’s jump into the new cards.

New MCP Character & Tactics Cards
These are dropping in Q2 2024, and if you need more Spider forces, these are perfect.
We’ve already seen this pack hit pre-order, but it’s nice actually to see the rules. They are a little hard to read, but we expect more previews from AMG soon.
Black Panther Chosen looks to be quite strong, and he should be!
These are only a few months out and have also hit pre-order, so don’t wait around. They didn’t show off rules for models in Q4, but this gives you a great idea of what to expect in the next few months.
With a wide range of characters and units from various eras, the upcoming releases in the Marvel Crisis Protocol preview at Adepticon offer something for everyone, whether you’re a die-hard comics fan or play the game.
